So without further a due... Or whatever it is that they say to sound fancy... RESUME THE STORY!!! Oh, and btw, I've been grounded for playing with knives and other...stuff has been going on lately so yeah. Sorry I haven't been updating. And I just haven't been on here for a while. Now to the story :P

* 7 Years Later*

I walked across the old school pavement, making my way to the Old Gym up beside the high school building where I now went to school at. I sighed as I pointlessly brushed my bangs out of my eyes, only to have them fall right back into place. I sighed again in frustration this time.
I didn't hate having my bangs or anything, I just didn't like how they got in the way when I tried to walk and keep my head down to avoid eye contact.

I've been here for what? 7 years now? And basically everyone in this school hates me or is afraid of me. They call me goth, or emo, or even a freak. I don't really care though. I know I'm kinda goth 'cuz I wear black all the time, I am gonna get considered emo because people see no difference in emos and goths, and I am a freak. I can walk without making a sound, I can look someone in the eye and basically see what they are thinking, and the weirdest part, I can speak to the stray animals that wonder their way into the school building or outside of it.

One of the stray dogs won't leave me alone either. He follows me everywhere he can and he doesn't leave. I sit outside the lunch room to feed him my lunch since he doesn't get anything to eat. The teachers don't have to deal with him so they don't care. I named him Max. After my puppy I had that my 'dad' ran over on purpose. And speak of the doggy, here he comes now...

Max barked a "Hello" to me and walked over to my side. I smiled slightly and pet his head a bit. A boy, who had been walking a little ways in front of me, turned around and looked at me and the dog like we were insane. I just death glared at him and saw the fear in his eyes before he turned around and started to walk a little faster.

I smirked at the thought of being feared and continued to pet Max's head. I walked through the doors to the Old Gym and up the bleachers on the right side of the building. Max, of course, followed me up and when I sat down he sat down and set his head on my lap. I was able to get out of doing anything in P.E. Class because one of my very few friends is the niece of the P.E. teacher, Couch Jarrett, and asked if we could sit out during P.E... Every. Single. Day... And to our absolute surprise, she agreed and let us.

Since I was almost always the first person here, besides the boy that was walking in front of us, who's name is Jake, I had to wait until my friend got here. She's really cool and creepy. And I love that about her. Her name is Ellen. But back to the present. We'll talk about her more later on.

I sat with my eyes closed and petting Max as I thought about how the day may role out. I heard Max start to growl and I opened my eyes as I shot my hand out in front of me, luckily and awesomely, grabbing the collar of Jake's shirt. He froze in place and just stared at me. I looked him directly in his eyes and saw that he was thinking I was going to kill him or do something else terrible. I smirked and chuckled a little. He started to freak out a bit when I started to raise my other hand to his face.

"Hey! You two! Stop it right now! Autumn, we have been through this a million times, don't scare people just because they try to get a good look at you or want to talk to you!" Couch Jarrett said with her I pad in hand. I smirked a little wider, showing my unnaturally sharp canine teeth.
