During lunch my friend Kayleigh comes up to me asking, "Can I sit with you?" I looked at Bryson and he shook his head yes. So I told Kayleigh yes sit down beside me, Kayleigh told me she wanted to talk to me after lunch today. Lunch was over I asked Bryson if he would take my tray up for me and head to class. He asked me, "Are you sure you want me to leave?" I told him yes I need to talk to Kayleigh for a couple minutes by myself please. After he left Kayleigh asked me, "Do you still want to be friends anymore?" and she started to cry. I walked her to the bathroom and gave her a big hug and whispered in her ear, "Yes I still want to be your friend! We have been friends since 2nd grade nothing is gonna make us not friends!" The bell rang to get to class so I told Kayleigh I will ride the bus home with her today so I can talk to her. School was over for the day Bryson asked me if I wanted a ride home, I told him, "not today thanks anyway i'm gonna ride the bus home".
While I was on the bus and talking to Kayleigh I realized that I really haven't talked to her that much ever since Bryson and I started dating. It was my turn to get off the bus I walked up the long dirt road and looked at the ground kicking the dust and I kept thinking about what Kayleigh said to me. I stopped at the small stream of water and I thought of what Kayleigh said to me one more time before I walked into the house. That's when I realized that I ignored Kayleigh a lot since I started dating Bryson, my eyes started to water then I started to cry. I cried for about 5 minutes while sitting there then I started to walk to my house again. I went inside, went upstairs into my room and threw my bags onto the ground and went to my closet and got my photo album out and started to look through it. I was going through it and I realized that most of the photos in the photo album are mostly of Kayleigh and I.
Then my phone started to ring, I rushed over to my bags and dumped them out. I found my phone and I saw who was calling, it was Bryson so I pressed ignore. Then 5 minutes later he called again and I pressed ignore again. The next morning I woke up and walked to the bus stop to wait to get on the bus. While I was waiting for the bus, Bryson came to pick me up to take me to school. I got in his car and we went to school the whole ride was silent he looked over at me and grabbed my hand lifted it up and kissed it. I started to cry so he pulled the car over to the side of the road turned the car off got out, and walked over to my side. He opened the car door unbuckled me and told me to get out he put his arms around me and gave me a kiss. He asked me, "Is there something you need to tell me?" All I told him is that Kayleigh feels like I don't want to be her friend anymore, because ever since I started to date you I haven't talked to Kayleigh really at all.
