It was time

It was finally time to have our little princess come into this world of ours. Her due date was set for February 12th and today is February 16th and tomorrow is the day she is coming the doctors said. Since she is 5 days past her due date the doctors said that I can still try to do birth naturally. I was 16 hours into labor when the doctor told me I could start pushing my mom woke Bryson up to help me. I was pushing and the doctor told me to look down because her head was out I started to cry but I couldn't stop pushing till her whole body was out it took 2 more hard pushes till she was out. Bryson cut her cord then the doctors put Jocelyn on my chest. I looked at Bryson and he leaned over to kiss me on my forehead and said "good job we did it"'. Miss Jocelyn Brooke was born on February 17th, 2016 at 2:43am weighing 6lbs and 28 ounces. The doctors took her to clean her off while Bryson and I filled out her birth certificate. When Jocelyn was cleaned off Bryson got to hold her for a little then my mom came into the room and held her. My mom said "You two did a perfect job at creating the most perfect baby".  It's been an 3 hrs since Jocelyn was born so I posted on facebook that she was here and showed some pictures of her. Everybody was texting me asking if they could come visit me. I said no I need rest maybe tomorrow when I feel better and got some rest.

It's the next morning the doctors came in to check to see if the baby and I were okay. Bryson woke up 30 minutes after I did and asked if I wanted anything to eat. I said yes and told him what I wanted. While Bryson was gone getting food for us my mom texted me to see if she could come up then Bryson's mom texted me asking if she could come up I told them both yea. Bryson got back with our food so I ate and then had to feed Jocelyn  since she didn't eat yet. An hour later Bryson's mom showed up to see Jocelyn and see how we were doing. She told us that we did the right thing and kept the baby instead of giving her up for adoption. After she left my mom came to visit to talk to us and then she held Jocelyn and left. All of my friends were texting me asking if they can come to see Jocelyn. I only told my really close friends yes. A couple minutes later Kayleigh showed up to check on Bryson and I. Kayleigh asked if she could hold Jocelyn I said I don't care. While Kayleigh was there she brought some gifts for Jocelyn and I. I thanked her. It was time for Kayleigh to head to work so she had to leave. A couple of my other friends showed up they all were arguing over who gets to hold her first and they also argued over who Jocelyn looked like the most. Bryson had a couple friends that came to see us.

The visiting hours were over so all of Bryson's friends had to leave for the day. It was dinner time I was feeding Jocelyn and a doctor walked in and I didn't have the cover on to cover me. But he let me finish feeding her then I told him to come back in he said it's time for her bath would you or Bryson like to help? Bryson said I will so she can get some rest for the night. After Jocelyn's bath Bryson walked back to the nursery with the doctor to get some extra diapers for the room for tonight. Throughout the night Bryson woke up to change Jocelyn's diapers if she needed feed Bryson woke me up. The next morning Bryson woke up first and then woke me up because Jocelyn was crying. I feed her then Bryson went to get us food so we could eat. I decided to get up and get a shower. While I was in the shower Bryson's mom showed up. When I was done I got dressed and laid back down. The doctor walked in and said you can leave today but you have to fill these forms out first. After we filled out the forms Bryson went to get me a wheelchair so we could leave. Bryson helped me pick out a going home outfit for Jocelyn. Bryson's mom had to go out to Bryson's car and get the carseat for the baby. When she came back in we buckled Jocelyn in and left the hospital.
