Mary-Sue's POV (who else?)
I woke up from a restless and dream-filled sleep along with the others, and after a quick breakfast of some leftover stew, we began to set off on our journey again. As we walked through the quiet forest, the Seaking playing in the quiet brooks and the young Spearow soaring through the trees, I caught a Pikachu and a Mudkip and a Scatterbug and a Arceus and a Burmy and a Batman and even a Cubchoo! Eventually, we made it all the way to Santeloon City happy and healthy. We walked through the streets to the Pokémon Center to get ready for the Gym, as it wasn't like there was anything else the towns were used for. Along the way, I realized that there were actually quite a few half-Pokémon like me! I, at the very least, think Nurse Joy was fat enough to be a Chansey fusion. Or was I just being crazy?
Wait, did I mention I caught a Flectling? It's so cute!
After healing all our Pokémon, we made it to the Gym. As we walked in, we oohed and aahed at all the cool photos of mythical creatures like a "squirrel" and a "butterfly". We eventually found a slightly overweight man wearing a suit and standing near a Gym statue as if his life depended on it.
"Hello, guys! I'mma gonna help ya get all the way to the very top of the Elite Four!" He said as we walked near him. We all stared at him.
"Um, thank you?" Gold says politely. Silver just walked right through to the entrance to the area to battle the Gym Leader (because there was of course an entrance), only to set off some kind of alarm.
"That's the metal detector! I'mma hafta ask ta to take out ta metal stuff!" Silver thought for a minute, then just decided it'd be easier to put his entire coat in the box the man held out.
"I have too much....metal stuff," he told the man. He said he gave it all to him, but chose to walk around the metal detector this time instead. We walked over to where we could battle the Gym Leader, only to see the pit with the giant icky spider web we had to fall into to get to the leader.
"Ick!" I made a face at the web. I hated gross things. Why did I have to go through the sticky web?!? (I guess I need yo break up the narrative and voice my random opinion here, despite this being a BOOK. So.....bananas? How am I even doing this...)
"Hey, why don't we just take the stairs instead?" Gary, ever full of good ideas, took all of us down the staircase to the Gym Leader. Wasn't he so smart? We eventually came to find the blonde haired girl in safari clothes that seemed to be the Gym Leader. She seemed surprised at first that we took the stairs, but quickly recovered and smiled.
"Wow, you took the stairs? That's just FABULOUS! My FABULOUS name is Violin! Are you here to battle me? FABULOUS! Let's begin this FABULOUS battle!" We all tried to say something, but she sent out a Vivilion before we could say anything. Shrugging, I stepped onto the battlefield.
"Go Articuno!" I yelled (did I mention I have a Articuno?) as I sent out the magnificent blue bird. It instantly used Ice Wind, fainting the Vivilion.
"WOW, you're so FABULOUS! You're too spooky for me, so take this FABULOUS Gym Badge!" She gently handed me a cool looking badge, and we began to climb back up the stairs.
"HAVE A FABULOUS DAY!"
As we made it to the top, Silver grabbed his jacket and we made our way out to the center of Santeloon City. As we began to walk to the next route, we accidentally bumped into a tall man. He was tam with black hair, and wore black jeans and a black sweater. A odd looking design was painted onto his sweater that looked oddly familiar....
"Watch where you're going, runts!" He yelled. Before Silver could take out his knife, Gold stopped him.
"We're sorry!"
"Oh you bet you're sorry!" The man grinned almost evily. "We members of Team Meme will take over the world and make you all our slaves! And you'll NEVER find our secret base in Luminose City in the Mudkipz Café. NEVER!!!!" With that, the odd man ran away, but not before Silver could lunge at him with his dagger a few times.
"Well....he seemed nice," I said, the others quick to agree as we made our way to the next Route. I rubbed my tail when no one was looking. Why did that symbol seem so familiar? As I walked absentmindedly, I ran into a girl about my age carrying a stack of books, knocking the books to the ground.
"ERMAHGOD MY BOOKS!" She yelled as she knelt down to pick them up. Gary and I helped her, speaking as we picked them all up.
"I'm so sorry! Are you ok?" I asked.
"Meh, I'm rate me feeling 8/8 mate," She replied happily, which made me feel better.
"I'm Gary, and this is Mary. Who might you be?"
"I'm Crazy, can I go on a journey with you?" The words she said put a halt to our conversation. Could she go on a journey with us? I mean, she could, obviously, but with her tan skin and blonde hair, I was almost positive Gary would fall in love with her. It'd be rude to say no, though, right?
"Of course!" Gary said. Gold nodded excitedly to show his approval. Silver looked up at her for a second before returning to cleaning blood off of his hands, a promising sign. And with that, we ran off to the next route, all of us ignoring that she had the same symbol on her shirt as that other man.
??? POV
Mary-Sue was so beautiful. Sure, Crazy was crazy, but Mary-Sue was the one for me. Well, time to make sone stew! (I wonder who it could be? *sarcasm*)
*************************************
Well, I'm back! I haven't updated in a month, but I'm back! I'm sure there's a angry mob waiting for me, but I'm just glad that I finished! You know, ripping off Pokémon and parodying fan fiction is harder than it sounds! *wipes sweat off brow* Besides, I've kinda felt really off with this book for a while, but I think I'm finally going strong! So yeah, I've been really busy, helping edit special projects, writing one shots for Pokémon contests, the usual. And let me just say school is not making things easy. I will try to update more often, but at this point, no promises. Sorry! ^^'(Hopefully) I'll see ya soon, Pokéfriends!
