[Alex POV]
I woke up in the middle of the woods. I stood up just to be surrounded by trees. I hear a loud crack like one from a branch on a tree. I saw a figure run. I shifted quick following the figure. I see the figure again and again. Then finally I see it and I knock them down. The figure was a werewolf. He was alone. His eyes were yellow so he hasn't killed before. I growled loudly at the figure and they shifted back to human, and so did I.
"Who are you?" I ask.
"My name is Owen. My pack left me. I'm looking for them." He said.
"Owen, why did your pack leave you?" I ask.
"Because I refused to kill someone." He said.
"How do I know I can trust you?" I asked.
"Because I'm innocent." He said.
We both walked together back to the warehouse. I see Adam outside studying the symbols of what he found on Katie's body.
"Adam this is Owen. He says his pack left him." I said.
"I'll talk in a minute. Go inside and cheer Karra up. Kyle left town. He said he wanted to find himself." Adam said.
I went inside and saw Karra sitting crying. I came and hugged her.
"I can't believe he would leave me. We've been through everything together." Karra said.
"I know it's all of a sudden, but you still have me. Kyle maybe just got overwhelmed with all that was happening with Kate and Thomas." I said.
"I miss him Alex. Just promise me as long as Kyle is gone you won't leave me." She said.
"I promise." I said.
We kissed and went outside with Owen and Adam.
"A lone wolf whose pack left him because he refused to kill someone. Sounds like an Omega case we have." Adam said.
"An Omega hasn't been around here in months." Karra said.
"Ok we'll handle his problem later. Anything with the symbols." I said.
"There is another pack in town. But they might be stronger than us. According to one of the symbols they have an ancient ritual where if you kill a witch the Alpha gets the witch's magic." Adam said.
"They took Katie's magic. How is this bringing us any closer to finding out who this pack is and who is in it." I said.
"Maybe if you can trace the magic. I mean with another witch if their is one." Owen added.
"What do you mean trace the magic." Adam said.
"My friend Thomas traced witch magic to find his other wolf friend and a vampire." Owen said.
"Thomas is dead Owen. He tried to kill us." I said.
"Oh." Owen said.
"Don't you need a witch to trace magic." I said.
"Yes why." Owen said.
"Katie and Logan are the only ones with magic in town. So there has to be another witch." I said.
"Call Logan now!" Adam said.
