PERCY
All of the seven were sitting round a table. Not talking to each other, focusing on the battle and thinking about what horrible destiny might await them. Percy laced his fingers through Annabeth's. Memories came flooding back to Percy, the quest to retrieve Zeus' Master Bolt, the quest for the Golden Fleece, rescuing Annabeth and Artemis from Mount Othrys, the Battle of the Labyrinth and of course, The Second Titan War. He would be dead by now it it weren't for Annabeth taking that knife, thinking about that moment sent chills down Percy's spine. He remembered their first kiss - which had surprised Percy a lot - in the Telkhines' forges and their first real kiss underwater after the campers had dumped them in the canoe lake.
He couldn't help thinking what horrible end might be waiting for them, and one thing he knew, that if something happened to Annabeth, he would never forgive himself and the Fates.
'Okay! Enough mourning time!', chided Leo,'Anybody want to Iris-message anybody?'
'Let's call Camp Half-Blood.' answered Jason. Percy thought of Jason as a great guy, a great friend, but as much as he admired him, he could never help but wonder, which one of the two were stronger?
Leo called Camp Half-Blood. They talked about the upcoming battle. Chiron tried to get their spirits up, by telling them that they were the finest heroes of all time, but you just can't feel spirited when the world is coming to an end, everything you stood for, crumbling to dust.
'I want to talk to Mom.' Percy said. How could he be so selfish? He hadn't talked to his mother in ages.
After all the goodbyes and take cares had been done, Percy said,'Well I guess this is it then. It's been a hell of a ride with you guys, thank you for everything.'
'Yep, great time with you bro!'
'Hell of a time, we had!'
'I'm so glad I met you.'
'DIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!'
And with those words, they marched out the Argo II to meet the Giants in battle.
