Lawrence's P.O.V
I was in my office doing some alpha stuff when my beta, Kyle, told me that there was a rouge approaching our territory. I ordered him to looked at the rouge and handle it. After a few minutes my wolf is becoming irritating. He's trying to tell me something and because of that I went outside to freshen up. Suddenly I smelled something delicious. I followed the smell I think it leads me to the cliff. As I walk there I saw the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.. running.. I panicked when I saw her moving towards the cliff. I used my werewolf skill, fortunately before she fell I grabbed her. I panicked when she fainted. I immediately brought her to the pack house and I called the pack doctor.
"Do your best to save her!!", I command using my alpha tone.
"Yes alpha", he said nervously. Well who wouldn't be afraid of me? I'm Lawrence Stravos anyway. But I don't care who I am right now my mate needs medical attention fast!
"Alpha I have a bad news", the doctor said.
"What?!", i shouted knowing it's a bad news.
"She has many bruises in her body which means only one thing. She's been beaten up just recently alpha.", he said without looking at me.
I growled loudly. "What?! WHO THE HELL DID THAT TO HER! LET ME SEE!"
The doctor immediately showed me the bruises. I was so shocked when I saw the bruises all over her body. I feel my wolf was ready to take over knowing that his mate was hurt badly. Whoever did this to her will pay big time. The doctor went out when he sensed that my wolf is taking over. I didn't leave her side, I need to be here when she wakes up.
I didn't realize i fell asleep when I heard a noise. I immediately scanned the room and when I realized that no one was there I looked at my mate and saw her staring at me. I walked towards her and i saw her moving backwards.
"Please don't hurt me...", she pleaded.
I would never hurt my mate! My wolf was whimpering knowing that our mate is afraid of us. It breaks my heart seeing my mate's scared expression.
"I'm not going to hurt you sweetheart. Why did you even think I will hurt you? "
"Everyone does...", when i heard what she said my wolf was one step closer in overtaking my body. But when i smelled my mate's tears i started to calm down.
"I'm sorry if I scared you sweetheart.", i said soothingly. "What's your name?"
"Alex-andria", she said without looking at me.
Alexandria.. what a beautiful name for a beautiful lady like my mate. When i caught her staring at me i can't help but to chuckle because knowing i have an effect on her.
"Uhh.. What's your na-me?", she asked.
"Lawrence... Alpha of the Redblood pack."
She started shaking in fear. I panicked knowing my mate knows how terrible I am. Afraid that she might not accept me because of who I am.
"Don't worry sweetheart I won't hurt you. Please calm down."
I don't know what i'm going to do if my mate will reject me. I hope not. I know I can't erase the past. I hope she will understand.
