Lawrence's P.O.V
"Alexandria?"
"Hmm?"
"Do you want to eat something sweetheart?", i asked while caressing her cheeks. But then she moved back. I was shocked by her sudden reaction.
"I.. i'm sorry Alpha.. it's just that.." she said while looking at any direction just to avoid my gaze.
" Just Lawrence, sweetie. For you it's Lawrence. I'm sorry if i was about to touch you. I just.. don't worry i'll never touch you again without your permission.", i said. She immediately looked at me. "So.. what do you wanna eat?", i added.
"No. It's okay Law...Lawrence. I'm not hungry.", she whispered but enough for me to hear.
"Sweetheart, you need to eat. I'll let someone cook for you okay? Just tell me what you want. Anything at all.", i said with a pleading tone.
"Uhm.. well.. apple would be nice", she said.
Apple?!
"Sweetheart. It's already 7pm meaning it's dinner time. You need to eat more than just an apple.", i said to her.
"But.. that's all i've been eating and of course with a bread" she said lowering her head.
"It's okay sweetie. I'm sorry. Let me get you something to eat. Yeah?", i said.
"Okay. Uhm thanks Lawrence.", she said while giving me a small smile.
"You don't have to thank me sweetheart. It's my job to serve you.", i said with a smile. I walked downstairs and went to the kitchen and saw some omega of the pack cooking dinner. They all bowed down to show respect. I nodded in response. I went and get some food for my mate. When i'm done preparing i went upstairs to where my mate is.
"Hi sweetie. Sorry if it took me long enough to prepare your food.", i said. I was waiting for an answer but when i didn't get any i walked towards her and saw that she's already sleeping.
I slowly sit down at the side of the bed just to make sure not to wake her up. I stared at my beautiful mate while she's sleeping. She looks so young, so innocent, so fragile. But her eyes told me that she has seen things that a young woman shouldn't have. My wolf is starting to get angry knowing that someone hurt our mate. Once i've known who they are i'm going to let them suffer. Their punishment will be f*cking amazing! After that i'm going to kill them.
I noticed my mate turned to face me. She's so perfect. My wolf purred just seeing our mate safe and sound in our side. I just wish she'd let me touch her. I like the feeling of sparks when I touch her.
"Sweetheart? Wake up."
She instantly woke up. She must have sense that I mean no harm because she immediately relaxed.
"Come on. I brought you your food. Eat up", i said while giving her the food.
"Thank you.. Lawrence", she said while smiling. I can see her eyes glowing. My wolf purred again. Knowing our mate is slowly adjusting around us. She has this beautiful smile I have ever seen. God i'm so cheesy.
I smiled back at her. "Eatwell sweetie."
When she's done, she went back to bed...
"Lawrence....."
"Yes sweety?"
"Lawrence..."
I waited for her to continue but when I didn't get any response I looked at her. Wow my mate sleep too fast and she's talking in her sleep, so cute. I silently chuckled, I was about to go when I heard something...
"Stay Lawrence....."
