General POV

It had been easy to find a recipe to make chocolates and even easier to get the ingredients. The maids that worked in the Moon Dorm had become used to her presence in the kitchen over the last couple weeks and she had already befriended most of them so they made sure that she had everything she needed. The maids were a great help since Lucy had never made chocolates before and didn't want to mess them up. She still did them herself, but they were instructing her every step of the way.

She ended up making four batches of chocolates. One batch were for her human friends, another large batch were for all her spirits, the third batch was specially made for her vampire friends, and the last batch was made for her special someone. It hadn't been easy to decide, but she knew she had to make a decision or risk losing her friends. After all, she liked Zero, Takuma and Aidou in their own ways.

From all the conversations she'd had with Aidou over the weeks, she'd discovered that he was funny and a lot smarter than she'd first thought. He had a bright smile that she found extremely infectious and made her feel like nothing could get her down. But then, she couldn't help but compare him to Natsu at times because of his overly enthusiastic nature as well as his temper. This left her thinking of him as a great friend but not as someone she could have romantic feelings for.

Zero was different from everyone she'd known back in Fairy Tail, so she could have those types of feelings for him. He was also easy to be around because she had never been afraid of him, unlike she had with Takuma and Aidou. And even though he wasn't as open with his thoughts or emotions, he was pretty easy for Lucy to read so that didn't matter so much. She also liked how protective he was of her when she was in danger but didn't seem interested in stopping her from doing what she wanted to do. But his hatred of vampires made things difficult since most of her friends in this world were vampires, and she couldn't see herself being with someone who couldn't accept her friends.

But in the end, her mind had kept returning to Takuma. Even though he was a vampire, he had never scared her like Aidou had and even though Zero didn't like him, Takuma always tried to get along with him. She also couldn't help but think of her first day with the Night Class and how he had done everything he could to make sure she was safe, comfortable and protected so she wouldn't be scared. His smile was almost as infectious as Aidou's and his presence always had a way of putting her at ease. He was smart but easy to talk to as well. The more she had thought about it the easier it seemed to figure it out.

Lucy could help but smile to herself as she prepared the boxes of friendship chocolates for her spirits, they were wrapped in deep blue paper and tied with gold ribbon. The boxes for Zero, Yuuki and Head Master Cross were wrapped with the same deep blue colored paper but had red ribbons instead of gold. The boxes for her vampire friends were wrapped in cream colored paper and red ribbon to match their uniforms. The last box of chocolates for Takuma was the largest and wrapped in cream colored paper and both the gold and red colored ribbons. There was also a letter secured under the ribbons that she had ended up writing when she'd meant to take her nap.

When all that was done, she got on making the three lunches for her Yuuki and Zero. They had warned her that she may end up getting mobbed when they were having lunch that day, but Lucy didn't care. She could stand a few of her fanboys getting a little more excited so long as she got to sit and eat lunch with her friends. Besides, she was planning on giving them their chocolates during lunch since they were sure to be busy later when the Night Class were heading out for class.
