I plucked an apple from the top of the pile.

"OI WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?" A voice yelled. My head snapped towards the burly man running towards me. I smirked, pulling myself up into the rafters.

"I'LL GET YOU!" He yelled, shaking his fist at me, I laughed as I treaded along the metal beams. I somersaulted down and landed on my feet, knees bent and face in front of red slippers.

"Tweedle Dum." I laughed. He rolled his eyes.

"Your mother requested to see you Jack." It was then my time to roll my eyes.

"Yeah?" I yelled walking into the red throne room.

"Oh Jack darling your here." My mother cooed.

"Yup I am. Now what did you want me for?" I asked, collapsing on my throne.

"Well darling, King Ben has requested that you attend their prep school in Aurodon." I rolled my eyes.

"Well what are you waiting for? Go get packed." She said ushering me out the door. I pulled a trunk from the top of my wardrobe and packed a ton of clothes into the bag.

"Miss Jack?" A small voice spoke out.

"Afternoon Rabbit." I chuckled pulling my bag out the room.

"I've been instructed to take you to Aurodon by your mother." I huffed.

"And she won't even send me off." He tutted and pulled out a pocket watch.

"We're late, so very late."

"Then why not go?" He gave me a brisk nod as we entered the tall hedges of my mothers maze, white roses were dripping with the red paint that the cards had clumsily painted them with. The White Rabbit's little paws dug away at the soil until the familiar blue light appeared.

"After you." He said gesturing his muddy paw. I hopped into the light.

"This is where I leave you." The Rabbit twitched, pushing his spectacles up onto his face.

"Alright bye." I yelled, pulling my trunk down the stoned path.

"Hello are you Jack?" I looked up.

"That's me." A blonde boy with a purple haired girl stepped out from behind a statue of a man.

"I'm King Ben and this is my girlfriend, Mal, daughter of Maleficient." He said, I smirked at Mal.

"So your the famous Mal my mom talks about." She smiled, shaking my hand.

"Well I wouldn't say famous." She chuckled. They led me into a huge entrance hall where a long haired boy was waiting.

"Jack!" He called out.

"Jay. Haven't seen you in a while." Ben furrowed his eyebrows.

"You two know each other?" I nodded whilst Jay's arms were wrapped around me. "His dad and my mom were gonna take over the world. In the mean time I was with Jay." I chuckled.

"Well here's your time table and I'll send someone by your room in a while to give you the rest of the stuff you need." I nodded before running up a staircase.

"Wrong way!" Ben called and I ran up the opposite staircase.

Knock, knock! It was around 7pm at night and I was lounging around in an empty boys room. They had originally put me in a girls bedroom but I had complained that I wanted a guys bedroom. Lazily I got up and fumbled with the doorknob.

"If your not the pizza guy then get out of here." I mumbled, rubbing my eyes.

"Well I'm here to give you your school supplies, Ben sent me." A deep voice rumbled. I slowly opened my eyes to brown eyes.

"And you are?" I asked, slowly taking my stuff from his arms.

"I'm Carlos, Carlos De Vil." He said shaking my hand after I put the supplies down on a nearby chair.

"I'm Jack, Jack of Hearts."

See here's the thing. I was called Jack cause my mom thought I was gonna be a guy. Well I ended up a girl but that didn't stop my mom. So now I'm the Jack of Hearts. Makes sense right. You know in a suit, that it goes King, Queen, Jack.

"Interesting name." He said. I smirked.

"What are you gonna do about it?" Carlos pretended to think.

"Well I will wake you up early in the morning to then accompany you to all of your lessons. Goodnight." He slammed the door, I stood awkwardly in the middle of my room until I decided I'd go get changed. After changing into my pyjamas covered in the suits from a deck of cards I snuggled underneath the silk covers of my bed.

Today hasn't been too bad, I guess I have to wait until tomorrow.
