His large hand enveloped mine, I blushed at the close contact but didn't say anything. We walked past princess' and prince's but one of them caught my eye, she glared at our enclosed hands so when she looked at my face, I slipped my penknife out of my pocket making sure it shined in the light and caught her eye. Her eyes widened and she ran off. Carlos who was oblivious to what I was doing pulled me out into field and to the edge of the forest.

"This is one of my favourite places." He said as we ducked under a branch. Woof! Woof! The same dog I was watching earlier scampered along the muddy path and jumped into Carlos' arms.

"Dude this is Jack, Jack this is the campus mutt Dude." He said. I tickled the excited dog.

"Here come on its close." The patter of water on rocks and the air around us got warmer.

"I've never shown anyone this." Carlos said pulling a huge leaf back and revealing a huge waterfall. Pink cherry blossoms lined the tree branches, birds fluttered over the surface of the water.

"It's beautiful." I gasped quietly and he looked over with raised eyebrows. I coughed awkwardly.

"Let's go in!" He yelled excitedly and I shook my head.

"Nuh uh. No way!" I said quickly. Dude jumped into the water making it splash up,

"Come on even Dude's getting in there." He groaned, yanking my sleeve.

"Even if we were going to go in, it's not like we have any swimming costumes." He smirked.

"That's what you think." He started to undo the buttons on his white shirt.

"Defiantly not." I said, covering my eyes. I heard the unzip of what I thought was his flies. I peeked through the gaps in my fingers and to my excitement I saw his toned chest.

"Come on please." He begged, peeling my hands from my eyes. His huge brown eyes widened and he jutted out his lower lip. Once I couldn't handle his puppy face I finally gave in, "Alright I'll come in." He cheered.

But your not allowed to watch me undress." I said and he saluted, turning around so his back was facing me. I pulled off my clothes and dived in, leaving my underwear on.

"HEY WAIT UP!" He yelled playfully, I laughed swimming along to where Dude was doggy paddling around. Carlos cannoned balled in, with his quick strokes he caught up to me. His arms wrapped around my waist and he pulled me under the water. I came up sputtering, my mouth full of water, he roared with laughter as he threw his head back, I tapped his shoulder and he looked at me. Let's just say he ended up with a mouthful of water as well.

"...And then I found out that the White Rabbit had a son called Wyatt, that confused me but whatever." I said. We had gotten out of the water a while ago and we were now just sitting on the grass next to the waterfall.

"I want to know about you. Why did you become good?" I asked, leaning o my arm and looking at the beautifu- wait hang on what? Go back a sec, what did I just say? I never say stuff like that, especially about boys.

"It just happened, I realised that I wasn't like my mother. In fact I'm actually like dogs, Dude has been by my side since I arrived here which was like two years ago..." He trailed off staring into my blue eyes. I felt my cheeks flare up and I looked down, once again fiddling with my necklace.

"What's the story behind that?" He asked. My eyebrows furrowed.

"Huh?"
