“Closed!? How could it be closed!?” You yelled.
“Now that I think about it, I guess it is kinda the Death City anniversary…” Soul admitted, rubbing his neck.
“HOW COULD YOU FORGET SOMETHING LIKE THAT!?” You yelled at Soul.
“In his defense, we were rushing a bit. I’m sure we forgot lots of things…” Maka defended Soul, looking at the ground.
“Forget this. I’m going back to bed.” You started walking home, half your body hanging forward.**
“Hang on now! We don’t want to waste the day sleeping! We should go play basketball!” Soul shouted, throwing his fist into the air.
“No way in hell.” You and Maka exclaimed at the same time.
“Too bad, we’re going. Or did you forget who has the keys to the house?” He held up the only pair of house keys, then put them in his pocket.
“Play a couple of rounds with our friends and you can have them.” Soul insisted.
“Jerk!” Maka yelled
“I haven’t even had a shower, and now I have to exercise?” You moped.
“Okay! Then it’s settled!” Soul shouted, pushing you and Maka to the basketball court.
All your friends were already there, playing around. There was a kid there that you didn’t recognize though. You couldn’t quite tell if it was a boy or a girl. It was tall, with pink hair and silver eyes.
“Hey, Maka, who’s that?” You asked, looking towards the stranger.
“Oh, that’s Crona! He’s a really nice guy! I’ll introduce you two! Come on!” She said, grabbing you by the arm.
“Ah!” You yelled, being dragged, again.
(People have got to stop dragging me around! It’s getting annoying!) You thought.
“Hey, Crona! Come meat _____!” Maka exclaimed, walking up to Crona.
“U-um, h-hi. M-my n-name is C-Crona. N-nice to m-meat you.” He said, holding his arm, looking at the ground.
(Is he shy or something?) You asked yourself.
“Nice to meet you too, Crona! My name is _____!” You said, reaching a hand out to shake his.
Before you could, a weird black thing came out of his back and slapped your hand away.
“Why on earth would you want to shake this freaks hand?” It asked.
“And, what the fu** are you supposed to be?” You asked the weird black thing.
“None of your business, you little freak!” It shouted at you.
“Oh, I’m the freak? That’s funny coming from a black thing that lives inside a boy!” You yelled in reply.
Before you knew it, you were in a heated staring contest with the thing. You clapped your hands in its face, making it blink.
“Hey! No fair, you little brat!” It yelled, pulling your hair.
“Why you!” You screamed, punching it.
“Hey! That hurt!” It screamed back, dropping you.”
“Hey, Ragnarock! Leave _____ alone please!” Crona shouted, pushing the weird black thing back.
“Alright already! I’ll leave the little freak alone! No one even likes (f/b) anyway.” He said, going back into Crona’s back.
“What a freak…” You said, looking at the ground.
