Ally woke up Saturday morning to her phone ringing excessively. Groaning, she grabbed it and answered the call without look. "What?"she mumbled.

"So?" Cammie demanded loudly and expectantly, waking Ally up the rest of the way. "What's with you and Stevie?"

"What do you mean what's with me and Stevie?" Ally asked, furrowing her eyebrows as she sat up and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes.

"Did you meet her yesterday?" Cammie wondered. Ally gave a grunt of confirmation, and Cammie squealed. "Do you like her?"

"It's too early for this, Cammie," Ally whined.

"It's noon, Allison," Cammie stated mercilessly. "Anyway, do you like Stevie?"

"I don't know," Ally groaned, falling back onto her pillow. "I've known her for literally a day."

"Okay, people can form crushes in like an hour, so that's no excuse," Cammie reasoned.

Ally rolled her eyes. "I don't know Cammie. I'm tired."

"Whatever," Cammie gave in, and then the line ended. Ally let out a breath and held her phone up in front of her face as she relaxed in her bed. She had a couple of notifications, a couple of texts and some calendar reminders.

Naturally, she went to check the text messages first, and she could feel her face light up when she saw a text from an unknown number, sent about an hour prior.

From Unknown – Found out what you were doing when you were SUPPOSED to be helping me set things up. :)

With a few strokes of her fingers, Ally saved the number as Stevie Boebi – the last name that she remembered Stevie introducing herself with.

To Stevie – Hey, I helped a LOT. :(

Ally scrolled to the other text message she had gotten, from Chrissy, which was essentially a quick tease about Ally and Stevie. Wow. I've known her a day, Ally thought to herself, though she was completely kidding herself. It didn't matter how long it had been, she definitely had a huge crush on Stevie.

Meanwhile, Stevie was nearly done with the first part of her film process. She was doing her speaking to the camera portion first –the easy part, in her opinion. The hard part would be the cool shots in between her to-camera parts. Those were the parts that would have her voice going over it, so after finding and filming the shots, she would have to top it off by recording her voice to fit the length of the shots. A lot of work, basically.

She heard her phone go off as she was readjusting her camera for her last to-camera shot, but she didn't think much of it as she hit there cord button again.

Smiling a decent sized smile, she finished off her video with, "So yeah, that's me, and I hope you enjoyed this video. Bye!" She pushed her hands toward the lens of the camera, covering it completely and then letting out a light breath. Done with that part, and it was still early in the day. She powered off her camera for now, and went to her phone.

From Ally – Hey, I helped a LOT. :(

Stevie smiled – she couldn't help it.

To Ally – You did get some decent angles.

It was true, Ally wasn't half bad with a camera. Not that Stevie had expected her to be, since she was in a film class. If she was being honest, she really wanted to watch one of Ally's music videos, but she didn't want to push about it. Everyone has personal things that they'd rather not share straight away upon meeting someone new.

From Ally – I do know how to work a camera you know? I've only been in film classes for four years. XD

To Ally – Yeah, yeah, whatever. ;)

Ally was finally starting to get up out of her bed when she got the winking face from Stevie and totally had a "What was I doing?"moment. It really wasn't her fault, though, that she automatically pictured Stevie winking at her and... damn.

To Stevie – Are you filming today?

It was a fat chance that Stevie wasn't filming, but if she wasn't... well, then maybe she and Ally could hang out. Assuming that Stevie wanted to, but whether or not Ally did was not even a question.

From Stevie – Yeah. Done with my to-camera stuff though, finally! I've been filming all morning! :)

To Stevie – Oh nice... meanwhile, I just woke up. XD

By the time that text sent out, Stevie had left her room to film the rest of her stuff. There was this thing that she did sometimes, when she really wanted to text someone, where she forced herself to leave her phone places so that she didn't obsessively text them. It was sort of for her own sanity, even if it might mess with someone else. It kept her grounded, though, and that's something she never didn't want to be.

So while Stevie was filming, which was what Ally assumed she was doing anyway, Ally got herself some food, dressed into slightly less lazy clothes, and decided to go to the mall to keep herself busy.Normally, she might go hang out with one of her friends, but right now, she needed to stop obsessively thinking about Stevie. Any of her friends would just interrogate her about her, so that eliminated her usual solution. She supposed that was just what happens when you bring a new friend to a group hangout where the only other four people are two couples.

But Ally didn't know, maybe she was really obvious about liking Stevie. Had Stevie noticed?

She hadn't really. In fact, Stevie was still feeling like maybe she was experiencing a crush that was in vain. Even if she had finally sort of befriended Ally, after two weeks of basically staring at her every time she saw her somewhere, that didn't mean that they would necessarily date one day. Sure, she would love do try it, but... she was shy when it came to Ally.

Which was weird, because usually, she was the most outgoing person in the room. She didn't mind handling awkward or uncomfortable situations, she could talk for hours, but when it came to Ally...something about her just made Stevie too nervous. Not necessarily in a bad way, but in the way that made it hard to be straight-forward,because her stomach was always fluttering around.

If she could figure out whether Ally liked her back or not, then maybe she would be able to work up the courage to do something about it. But until then... well, she would continue to crush on Ally, she supposed.

And unknown to Stevie, Ally would continue to crush on her as well.
