I'm pretty confused what happen after the acid incident..
The next day, I woke up at a 'camp' it was a small room made from oak trees, the roof was a mush of sodden leaves that flapped down onto your head throughout the night, and was fixed the next morning. As soon as I woke up there was a strange girl sitting next to me reading some type of manual about survival...although, I was already panicked at this stage so before asking any vital questions I just screamed the one my mind was telling me over, and over "WHERE THE HELL AM I?!!" I blurted out. The girl just stared at me blankly, with an expression of sadness on her face. "Look I'm sorry.." I began.
"It's fine, I get it,everyone who comes in here is like you.." She whispered.
"What do you mean 'everyone' what even is this place?" I spluttered.
"It's our home, and it's safe-for now anyways, maybe not in a couple of weeks but we're waiting to see what the future holds..." She quietly replied.
"What..? Look, I may seem a little crazy but right now I don't know who the hell I am, why I'm even here and where my family are, so to be honest I'd like a bigger explanation!" I cried.
"Yeah well, that'll have to wait for now, and by the way my names Delanie, my brother Sanuy found you..but he's pretty mad. I have a younger sister called Juja and the rest of the people here are just the ones we've found." She sighed.
After our discussion Delanie stood up from her wooden chair and left me alone, although inside I wanted her to come back..I just needed the company of another human right now. But I guess that was never coming. Deep in thoughts, a tall, black-haired girl stomped into my room, "Who are you?!!" She complained, disgusted at my presence.
"Honestly, I don't even know myself" I smiled sweetly.
She glared at me with her emerald, beady eyes, oh if looks could kill I'd be dead in a heartbeat. She snatched up a water bottle and trotted out of the room slamming the door behind her. Although, I didn't ask to come here, Sanuy could've just left me, I didn't want to be saved quite frankly,I would've been happy dying, what use am I to the world anyway? Nothing, basically. But I've always thought of myself as nothing.
