Chapter 4

Megan's POV :
"Bye bitchesssss" Karlie yelled as she drove off.

We walked to the door.

"What's this?" He asked a little confused while examining a piece of paper that was taped to the door.

I took It off and read it.

"Thought I couldn't find you? Better hide somewhere else. I'll Kill the Fag that Lives here If I Have to."

I crumbled the paper up and shoved it into my pocket. "It's nothing"

He opened up the door and went into the kitchen. "Since we didn't eat much here's some chips. Or if you want I can fix dinner. What do yall want?"

I took the Chips "this will be fine." I handed them to Alexis

"Eat these. Then find some pajamas I'll give you a bath in a minute." I said.

She nodded and ran into our room.

Ashley stared at me. "What?" I Asked.

He just shrugged "I don't know. You Look worried."

I grabbed the note and unraveled it "here" I said.

He looked through it then up at me.

"Wait, so what does this mean?"
I shrugged. "I don't know. I guess we'll go back to him"

"No. You can't. Hes treated you like shit! You deserve way better."

"It's fine. I'm used to it. I've always been treated bad. I don't think I would even know it if someone treated me right. I have to.. I cant lose Alexis."

Ashley crumbled up the paper. "You know what? We're going to have a get together." He pulled out his phone and called Karlie, mitch, and some guy named CC.

While he was on the phone I walked into the room and gave Alexis a bath.

While i lathered up her hair I sighed "we might have to leave." There was a silence then she looked up at me.

"Why mommy? Daddy hurts you.. let's not go back there. Ashy loves us" A tear slipped from her eyes. I wiped her face.

"No baby.. we'll be somewhere else. Just keep it a secret. Okay?"

She pooched out her lip and shook her head "okay"

I rinsed her off and wrapped her in a towel. I hugged her very tight "I love you" she whispered.

I smiled "I love you too." And kissed her head. She giggled and ran into our room to get dressed.

After she was dressed i tucked her in and kissed her goodnight.
Ashleys POV :
*on the phone with Karlie*
Me- aye, Party At My house.
Wait not a party but a get together. Bring mitch if you want.

Karlie- seriously? I was just fucking over there.

Me- yeah well stuff came up. If you don't want to come then you don't have to.

Karlie- yeah... I'm not coming. I'd rather fuck mitch..night.
*hangs up*

*calls cc*
Me - hey cc want to come over?

Cc- eh, not really bro. I have stuff to do right now.

Me- okay that's fine.
*hangs up*

"Damn" I threw my phone on the couch.

"What's wrong?" Megan asked as she entered the room.

I jumped back and shook my head "no one can come over tonight."
