Chapter 1

Reagan POV

"Reggie Get up! You have school today." I heard my eight year old little sister say. "Thank you May." I say. I push back my comforter and laugh. "Come on May. Mom doesn't take you to school for another three hours." I say as I gesture her out my room. "No I want to help you." She augurs. "May, you did help me. Now if you want to help me more go back to sleep." "Fine Reggie," She stomps back into her room and does as she's told. I walk into my baby blue bathroom. I turn on the shower and start to undress.

I get out the shower twenty minutes later and start to dry my Raven black butt length hair. I turn to walk out the bathroom and make my way to my closet. I pick my favorite jeans with a Black ruffle top mom bought. I put on my classic black and white converse and dry

and curl my hair. It's 6:00 so I decide to leave for school. I walk into my Mom's room and she's awake on the phone. "Mrs. Humbert I understand and I promise later today I will check to see if you're at risk...Ok thank you Bye." I knock a softly. "Is she and the baby okay?" I ask a bit worried. "I don't know babes I'm going to check later today. You off to school?" "Yeah Mom, I have to go get Kendra and then Starbucks." I smile. She comes and hugs me. I hug back and back up. "Okay Mom see yeah and don't forget you're a OB/GYN. All the mother wants is healthy babies and you help give them that." I say and laugh. "Never," She teases. I walk out her room, grab my backpack and school art supplies, my keys and head out the door.

Later that day I was walking into lunch with my bestie Kendra or Candy. "Reagan how do you think you did on the math test today?" She asks. "I got an A I hope." "Lucky I think I got a D." Just then someone bumps into me and spill their chicken Alfredo all on my Artwork I drew earlier. "Ughh!" I say as I bend down to pick it up and feel hands. "I'm sorry." He says. I look up and am greeted by Asher Hayes. His Gray eyes warm and compassion but at the same time hurt and fears. He smiles and his dimples show big time. His brown hair lies perfectly on his amazing face. Oh and his jaws are too perfect. I found myself wonder what it would be like to kiss him. "Oh it's fine." I say smiling like an idiot. "You're Reagan right?" He questions as he helps me pick up me drawing of a Swan. "Yes, Reagan Locksley, at your service." I joke. He laughs. "I'm sorry about your Swan." "Oh it's fine it was just a sketch nothing serious." "Want to hang out at Starbucks later?" This is seriously not happening. "Sure, how about right after school? I have to leave at 5 to pick up my little sister from ballet." "Sure see you later Reagan." Oh my god. "Ok bye Asher." I say. He turns and smiles. "Call me Ash." He whispers.

I walk towards Henry at our lunch table. "Reagan? Are you okay?" Candy asks. I sit down and say "Asher asked me to go to Starbucks with him later today." Just breathe. "Really?" Candy says in shock. "Reggie that kid is an Ass okay just watch out." Henry says. "Henry stop it. Just because he is popular and he hangs out with a bunch of butt holes doesn't mean he is one to. I can tell he's different because I see it in his eyes." I tell Henry. "So anyways how are Mom and Dad?" Henry says. "Well Mom is doing great but Mrs.Humbert is being a pain and Dad is doing well as a firefighter. May is a amazing with ballet and she moved up to the 10 year old class." I answered. "You guys are the weirdest god siblings ever." Kendra exclaims.

Around 1:30 the bell rung and I bee line towards my Black 2015 Sonic, Kendra comes up next to me and gets in my passages seat. "Drop me off at dance please." She says and I nod. I drive her to KC's dance studio for the gifted. She hugs me and blows kisses. Grabs her bag out my back seat and runs in. I pull out and start driving to Starbucks and decide to call Mom. I grab my IPhone 6 plus and find moms contact that's under 'Mommy💋💋' "hey babes." Mom says clearly tired. "Hey mommy how is work?" I ask. "Well Reagan it is stressful but I delivered a baby today so that was the highlight and oh your dad sent me Chocolates and Tulips." "Congrats Mom! You helped bring another baby into the world!" I say cheering and laughing. "So um Mom you know the cute popular kid Asher?" "Yes babes aren't he a music talented kid." "Well it's a rumor but I can see. Back to subject he asked me to Starbucks and I'm going." "Congrats Honey just don't tell Dad and don't be late to pick up your sister. I have a feeling Mrs.Humbert will keep me a bit later tonight." I laugh and so does she. "Okay Mom bye love you!" I yell. "Love you to honey!" She yells back.

I pull up to Starbucks and walk in. "Hey Reagan." Asher says as he walks over. "Hey Asher," I say. We sit a table in the corner. "So I saw your swan well mainly the parts my lunch didn't destroy and you're good." "Um thanks." "Reagan, why swan?" "Well, because their graceful and beautiful inside and out. They remind me of my Mom and my god mom." "Oh cool. I have seen you work around school and you're a prodigy." He says. "Thanks, I have been drawing since I was a toddler so... I guess that's why." My phone rings and I pick up. The screen read 'Momma Swan😍' I lift my finger. "Hey Emma," I say. "Reagan you need to get to St. Anthony's hospital." "Why?" I say frantically. "Because I just had to rush your Mom to the hospital. Don't get May just yet. I'm here and so is Killian. Your dad is on his way but Henry had to stay home and watch his sister." "Okay I'm coming." I hang up. "I got to go my Mom's in the hospital." He nods and I run to my car.

I'm driving down the street in Oklahoma City. I call Henry "Hi Reagan." My five year old God sister Ava chirps. "Hey bean pole hand Henry the phone." "Okay." "Hello." His voice made me feel like mom was going to be okay. "Henry" I checked out through the fresh tears falling from my eyes. "She will be okay." Henry says trying to soothe my tears away. "Please..." I whisper.
