Chapter 2

*still Reagan's POV*

"Henry what if she dies or something." I say crying. "No Reagan. You know she's one of the strongest women on earth. She'll get through whatever is wrong okay?" Henry says. "Yeah well I'm here call you later." "Okay see you later." I hang up the phone and wipe away my tears. Good thing I'm wearing waterproof mascara. I grab my sketch book a pencil and my keys. Breathing in deeply I walk into the saddest life ruining place ever imaginable. Well maybe not so much but still it smells like depression and self-loathing. "Reagan!" Dad calls. I run up to him and hug him tight. My plan to not cry didn't work. I start to cry. I feel my body go numb. Everything is starting to spin and I wobble. "Daddy, what happened?" "I don't know sweet heart but are you okay?" "Yeah dad I'm fine." Everything goes black and I hear my name being called but soon everything fades away.

I wake up to lights that seem too bright for comfort. Then remember mom. I look over to see her sleep. Then I look farther to see Daddy with Emma, Killian holding a sleeping Ava, May holding on to my stuff like it would walk away and Henry. "Dad?" I say. They all start to smile. I get hugs and kisses from all. "What happened?" A nurse comes in, "Oh good honey you're up. Sweetie I'm nurse Ruby Lucas and I'm going to be taking care of you and your mother." The happy nurse with long dark hair with red highlights says. "Ok is my mom okay?" "Yes she's in a medical induced coma. It umm appears you and your Mother was poisoned and not food poisoning either... The poison still hasn't been determined but we don't think it was an accident... Your mother was poisoned by something she ate. The test is still determining how you were." "Oh." Is all I can say?

Then Grandma Cora and Grandpa Henry burst through the doors. "Oh my Reagan!" Grandma shouts. "nipote!"(Granddaughter) Grandpa shouts. "nonna e nonno!"(Grandpa and Grandma) I say back. "They rush over and hug me. Then they move to mom and kiss her forehead. "How Reggie mastered Italian I will never know." Henry says causing a smile from everyone. "She studies and it's in her blood since Regina started speaking at 5."  They hug everyone and give kisses. "May you always run to Grandpa? Are you okay?" Grandma says to May. "Well my friend his mom was here and she never woke up. Daddy says Mommy's going to wake up but is she; because I don't want to lose my mommy." Tears falling from Mays eyes causing tears in mines to form, "Well if course my little ballerino she's going to wake up very soon." (Dancer)

The door opens once again and Kendra comes running in. "Oh my god Reagan if you ever scare me like that again I will kill you." She says dramatically. "Oh Hi everyone and grandma and grandpa," We all laugh and for a moment we forgot that mom was in a medical coma and that we were almost killed by some sociopath. "Everyone it's time to wake Mrs. Locksley up." Ruby announces as she enters. She pulls out moms IV and replaces the medicine. Once she reinserted it mom slowly starts waking up. "mamma... papà" mom says. "Hey Daddy's bambina." (Little Girl) Grandpa says with a smile. We all laugh slightly. " papà non una bambina" (daddy I'm not a little girl) moms says with a giggle.  Everyone else laughs too since we all speak fluent Italian well all except for Henry. "Why am I here? And where is Mrs.Humbert?" She's says starting to panic. "Love calm down. She's with Graham and your here because you were umm.... Poisoned and so was Reagan... By someone intentionally..." Dad calmly explains.

"What the hell?" She questions. Then May comes up to me. "Can I go hug mommy now? I don't want to hurt her." I smile and nod. "Yes go hug Mommy." She smiles and runs up to mom. "Mommy Mommy! You're awake. Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Everyone laughs at May's big heart. "No la mia principessa I'm just fine." (My little Princess) "Reagan honeys are you okay?" I nod. Then Ava starts to wake. "Daddy is GM awake yet?" When she sees her god mom her eyes light up and she jumps down and races towards her. "GM you're okay!" Ava screams. "Yes I am but Ava my head still kind of hurts." Mom winces slightly. "Ok sorry." She says.  Everyone sits down in their chairs with all the worries from before fading. We start taking about the Mills Law firm owned by Grandma Cora and Grandpa Henry.

Kendra reads my mind and handed me my Sketch book that was being guarded by my little sister and phone. I started sketching us in the moment in time. A moment time I would never get back. I could have lost my mom today but I didn't and I want to capture this perfect moment in time. My phone dings and I see it was my snap chat. I check it and I got a picture of a teddy bear holding a red heart. On the red heart it said 'Are you okay?' It was from AsherJHayes🍔. I laugh a bit and send him a picture of my right thumb up and my number. He texts me lighting fast.

'Hey it's Asher😎' I get. I reply 'Hey its Reagan🎨' I then added a contact under the name 'Starbucks Hayes☕️'
