Hey, everyone. This is a very delayed update with an apology of course. Quick excuse: college started and for the most part it's a new life for me, whatnot with moving out and into my own dorm, that I am still coping with. But here you go :) I am sorry it's late.
Anyhow, the song in the media bar is one of my favorite and I feel that it fits this story somehow, especially related to Damon. I advise you to listen to the original version by Skylar Grey (she is totally awesome!) if you haven't already.
I believe, I believe there's love in you. Gridlocked on the dusty avenues. ~ Skylar Grey - I Know You.
Well, enjoy! And have a nice day/evening/night wherever you are.
Note: not edited! Sorry for any mistakes.

"When will you ever stop abandoning me in places?" I asked, approaching Damon with a hand on my hip and an eyebrow raised high up my forehead. The corner of Damon's lip tipped up in a smirk as he lent on the hood of his car, furiously typing away at his phone.
"It's just two times, Clara," Damon retorted, clicking his phone off and tucking it away in his pocket while I stared him down. "And if you want to have a stare down contest, I don't mind. Just know you can never beat me at it."
My stare on him didn't waver one bit at the beginning. But true to his words, I couldn't, for the life of me, beat Damon Reynolds at this. It was hard, with the moving sun, to stare into Damon's eyes and not get lost in his glistening blue orbs. One blue shade, then the next, finally an amused look and I was a goner.
"Okay, you win," I blurted out, turning away just when a smile started to form on my face. "Let's just go."
Getting into the passenger's seat, Damon pushed off of the hood and followed me to close my door for me. When he got into his own seat and buckled up, I turned towards him, ready to ask him about what he said in the elevator. But somehow, the words got stuck in my throat and I decided to look out of my own window instead, the sound of the car's motor roaring to life a blur to my ears.
Maybe, it was just the illusion that I had some resembleness to Scarlet that made Damon choose me had me shutting up with mild aggravation.
"You wanted to say something?" Damon asked, glancing at me briefly before focusing back on putting the car in reverse mode and driving out of the company's parking lot and out onto the streets.
"No," I said, but it came out as a squeak just to add up to the credibility of my answer.
Cool!
"Sure," Damon chuckled. "I know you, baby. Tell me, what is it?"
Instantly, my head snapped up. A pleasant chill ran down my spine. My heart skipped a beat. All at once! And I had no idea which to focus on, feeling my neck almost crack, resisting the chill or reverting my heartbeat back to its normal pace.
Since when did Damon Reynolds claim to know me or give me pet names unless he was being sarcastic?
I shook my head at how stupid I sounded at the moment, reacting like a teenaged girl. But I couldn't help it. I was not used to this. To Damon being like this! A sadistic part of me wanted the old, conceited and cold Damon back, but the major part was sweetly surprised by his recent attitude.
