My mom and dad always like the saying "It's always calm before a storm" and tonight I learned that it's true the hard way. I didn't think that not even twenty-four hours after my mom and I had our talk about the killer that we would have to deal with him. I was abruptly awoken by a scream that was feminine. Realization pierced my brain like a needle through fabric and I scrambled up out of my bed and to my parents' room. I swing the door open to be met with a horrifying sight. My parents lay silent and still on their bed which was now absorbing their blood. I covered my mouth with my hands as I saw their bodies. There were multiple stab wounds on my mom while my dad's throat had been slit, but both of their now pale faces had smiled cut onto their faces. A deep rough chuckle came from behind me and I turned around to see their killer. Just like every news channel and station said, he wore a blood-stained white hoodie with black pants and black and white converses. His face, his horrid, awful face was paperwhite with ruby red chapped lips that were pulled into a smile that seemed bigger than possible with the cuts. He looked at me with his unblinking soulless eyes and blew some of his long black greasy hair away. Taking out his knife that had my parents blood on it he went to their bodies and pulled my father up so I could see his face. The killer laughed and looked back to my pale, lifeless dad. "Aren't they beautiful?" I swallowed the bile coming to my mouth and shook my head. His smile slightly faded before coming back. Going to my mom he looked at her. "What about your mother? I find her absolutely stunning now." My breathing was quick and my heart felt like it would burst out of my ribcage. 'He's toying with me like a cat does before it kills it's prey!' I thought and the tears ran down my face like water falls. The man walked towards me and I backed up against the wall, a small sob escaped my mouth. The man pinned my arms above my head and I shook with fear. "Wh-Who are you?" I asked before I would die and he placed the knife against my neck, ready to slice it open like my father's. He came closer to my ear and whispered, "My family called me Jeff, but everyone else calls me Jeff the Killer." He pulled away and growled. "Now, Go. To. Sle-" He was cut off by the window being smashed. The killer that I now know as Jeff quickly turned around to face what or who came through the window. I moved my eyes away from Jeff to also see what came through and gasped at what I saw. It was another man, definitely in his mid twenties with medium brown, messy hair and piercing green eyes. He wore a black jacket with black pants and black shoes with a black and light grey striped scarf wrapped around his neck. Apart from the fact that the guy jumped through the window as I was about to get murdered, what caught my attention about him was his stitches covering his face and hands. "Jeffrey, I've been looking for you." He growled out in a deep and dark voice. Jeff let go of me and turned to face the new person. "Liu, my dear older brother. What an honor that you want to see me!" Jeff said in a sarcastic voice. 'Older brother!' I mentally thought but kept my mouth shut. "Shut up Jeffery." Jeff tilted his head. "Stop calling me that Liu, you know I hate it. Why don't you call me Jeff like you used to?" Liu growled and narrowed his eyes. "I will never call you that again. Calling you Jeff requires me to know and care about you." Jeff let out a crazy laugh and got into some ready position. "Why brother, you don't care about me?" Liu also got into a ready position and spat out, "You're no longer my brother, you haven't been since that night ten years ago!" Venom laced his voice Jeff just groaned. "Ever heard of leaving the past in the past?" Jeff asked and that's when Liu charged with a knife ready to stab in his hand.
