3rd Pov

A shadow made it's way along the walls of an old building. In his hands were two gallons of gasoline. Stepping off the wall and onto the floor he started to spread the gas in the rooms, missing the bedrooms the two inhabitants were using. "If that fucking psychopath couldn't do the job himself, I'll just have to do it for him." The shadow began to chuckle, which escalated into an insane laugh. Looking at the high moon he knew they would be going to sleep soon after observing their actions for a while now. "Pathetic humans. So weak and oblivious." Leaving the now empty containers he slid back onto the wall and hid in the shadows waiting for them to fall asleep.

The moon was slowly rising as I looked out the window. 'Why did I apologize? Was it for hurting him, or the pity I felt for him. Obviously he's had a rough past but that's no excuse to act like an ass.' Sighing I shook my head. "All this thinking is giving me a headache." Opening my door I began to walk down the hall to the kitchen. 'Something's... off. Is that gasoline I smell?' Looking down I saw a trail of liquid that looked like it went everywhere, everywhere except out rooms! "Shit!" Turning around I ran to my room and grabbed my bag of what little was in it and rushed to Liu's room. He was asleep and already had everything in a bag except the phone and charger. I stuffed that in my pocket and went to Liu. "Liu, wake the fuck up!" I said as I shook him. He groaned and rolled over, making me shake him harder. "Liu we need to leave now!" I yelled and he slowly opened his eyes. They widened at the sight of me packed and I yelped as he grabbed my wrists tightly. "Liu we need to go! This place is about to burn down! He shot out of bed as fast as he could with his injuries still with wide eyes and dilated pupils. He was about to grab my hand when I suddenly realized that I forgot something in my room. "Run to the car with these, I have to get something from my room." He shook his head. "What the hell, no! Just forget it and let's go!" I stubbornly shook my head and gave him the bags of clothes. "No, you get to the car... It shouldn't take long." He sighed and took the bags before running out of the room. I quickly went into my room and looked around at the shadows. "Where are you? I know you're here!" I shouted but I didn't get an answer. It had to be the Observer behind this, it was the only thing I knew besides Jeff where we were. I was about to yell again when I smelt it, the smoke. I panicked and ran out of my room where I saw the fire spreading over the gas and coming closer to me and fast. I sprinted towards the door and barely missed the fire as I dived out of the door and landed outside. I got up and ran to the car where Liu was waiting for me. He was about to get in when he suddenly froze and looked at the building and started running inside it. Quickly yanking on his shirt to stop him I yelled, "What the hell? The building's on fire, we need to get out of here!" He looked at me with fear and panic in his eyes. "I-I left something in my room! I need it!" I gritted my teeth and mentally curse not only myself but everything else in the world. Pushing him into the car I charged back into the building. The heat burned my skin and caused my eyes to water. Running and dodging to his room I looked around. 'Where would he keep something?' I looked in the drawers of the broken dresser and found nothing but dust and cobwebs. Sweat ran down my face and into my eyes causing them to sting even more than they already were. The smoke was overwhelming as I breathed it in and started coughing violently. The fire was closing in by the rooms and I had to act faster. Looking at his bed I looked under the pillow to find a frame with a picture inside it. Looking back at the door the flames were now burning furiously outside and I knew I couldn't go back through that way without getting seriously hurt. Putting the frame into my bra so it wouldn't fall out of my wet grip I grabbed one of the drawers from the dresser and slammed it against the window. It shattered easily due to old age and wear on it. Climbing onto the window I jumped seeing it wasn't too far from the ground. Groaning when I made contact with the ground I fell and started to cough and wheeze. "F-Fuck Liu, I'll kill y-you!" I muttered and slowly got up and started to run around the building to the car.

Liu's Pov

It's been 10 minutes since (Y/N) went into the building. The flames were so intense that I could practically see wild tigers dancing around in it. I was so focused on the front doors that I didn't notice her enter the driver's seat. She coughed and groaned as she put the key into the ignition and quickly sped away from the building. Once we drove for a while she pulled over and got out of the car. I followed her as she sat on the hood and coughed. Looking at me she reached into her shirt and pulled out what I needed. The photograph of my family before it all happened. She looked at it and then to me. "What do we do now?" She asked in a raspy voice as she handed me the frame. I stood there thinking when an idea came. "Do you have the phone?" I asked and she pulled it out of her pocked. Pulling the charging cord that was still attached to the phone out I dialed a somewhat familiar number and waited for his voice. "Hello?" He asked and I smiled. "Hey, E.J it's me Liu. I'd like to call in that favor now please."
