Just Peachy

And here I thought that this would be a normal house. That I would make some normal friends, go to a normal school and have a normal life. My old house in London was fairly normal. I lived with my parents, brother and sister. Just us, a normal family. My mum was a lawyer and my dad was a surgeon. My older brother Tommy just turned 18. He was going to Oxford to study medicine. My little sister Sophie is 13. She wants to be a teacher. Always has since she was little.

We were a happy, and normal, family until dad got a job transfer and we had to move during the summer holidays. Mum managed to transfer to the same city as dad so they had very little travel. But mum and dad decided to live outside the city, in the country side. 'The middle of nowhere' as Soph calls it. We are living in a massive house at the end of a country lane, with our nearest neighbour or shop, or anything 2 miles away! So it's just us and the country side.

Tommy is moving to Oxford at the end of summer so he can go to Uni and Soph would give anything to go with him. She is scared of lots of thing, like wild animals, poisonous mushrooms, forests, and lots of things like that. Sadly for her, you find most of this in the countryside where we were moving to now.

But I was wayyyy wrong when I thought this would be normal. My whole life changed. For the better or the worse? I'm still unsure. But one thing I do know is that my life will never be normal again, whether I like it or not.
