A week later......
We had been in the new house for a week now. All the boxes were unpacked and we were beginning to settle in.
I piled up the last of my boxes, ready to bin them, and looked around my new room. It was very unlike my old one in London.
The walls stayed white and the floor wooden. I had a four post bed with pink silk draped over the top. My bed sheets were white with thick pink stripes and I had a light pink fluffy rug on the floor. All my furniture was white and I have three pink painting above my bed. One all dark pink, one normal pink and one light pink. My curtains match my bed and I have pinboard with lots of pictures covering it next to the window.
This week has been havoc. We have been unpacking constantly and arranging all the furniture. Today the last boxes were unpacked and we were in the process of getting rid of the leftover cardboard. I only had five boxes left.
I picked them up, and opened the door. Walking down my own little wooden stairs I realised I haven't been on my morning jog since we got here. I would have to fix that!
I finally made it to the kitchen where my family were. I dropped the cardboard boxes and picked up a slice of toast from the plate. Sophie didn't appear to be up yet. No surprise there then. She loves her sleep and will stay in bed until lunch if she can.
"Mum. Can I start going jogging again. I've not been in ages and I need to keep my fitness up for practise"
Oh! By the way, I'm a gymnast. Now, some people might think that because my parents have very important jobs -surgeons and lawyers- that they would push their children to have very important jobs too. Well they don't. Tommy just wants to be a brain surgeon by chance and Sophie wants to be a teacher. I want to be a gymnast. They encourage us all to reach for our dreams no matter what they are.
"Of course sweetie! Go and get dressed then go one now if you want?"
"Thanks Mum!"
I devoured the rest of my toast and ran upstairs to change. I couldn't go jogging in my pink onesy could I?
I changed into running shorts and a white tank top. I put on a grey jumper they matches the shorts and pulled my hair into a high ponytail. Grabbing my iPhone and earplugs I ran downstairs. I slipped into my trainers and I was off.
"Bye everyone! I've got my phone if you need me!" Quickly telling everyone I was leaving I left the house, ready to explore a bit.
I ran along the road for a bit then up a path that went in between two fields. It seemed to lead to the woods.
Feeling curious, I decided to enter the woods. There was thousands of trees on every direction but the sun still got through, shining on my skin and lighting up the forest. I ran over logs and under branches, turning whenever I felt like it.
I soon got bored and began just walking. I explored the woods for a while, just wondering around. Every so often I would think I saw someone or something but it was just my mind playing tricks on me.....until I swear I heard someone talking.
"Theysnneyehehen new here jehenshueb moved in hmnheidnrg visit emnriejemrkrk" that's all I heard.
They were talking about someone who had just moved in......wait......they were talking about my family! Oh no!
Wait......I thought nobody lived within two miles of here? I crept up,hiding behind a tree. Knowing my luck I will probably stand on a twig and it will snap or something.
"Look Alpha, they are still a major threat! We need your presence."
"I know Josh but this is my sister. I haven't seen my nephew and nieces in 8 years." Just then it dawned on me who this man was.
