As a child,
I thought would become an actor.
I saw myself on a stage,
Speaking of things that I truly I shared
With so many people which I didn't know.
I am an office clerk now.
They said to me,
"Too tall!"
"Too wide-eyed!"
"Too... awkward."
They sent me away, and took my best friend for Juliette instead.
She was truly pretty and wore a shoe size six.
As I return to my desk,
And that flickering screen,
Am I living out some else's dream?
Is this anyone's dream at all?
