"René, wake up," I heard a firm voice ordering me.

I squinted at the bright light hitting my face and looked around my room to find the source of the voice. I found Annalyn standing before me with hands on hips and a scowl on her face. And for a moment, I found my room filled with so many colors. "Ugh, must you always wake me up bright and early?" I question laying back down in my bed and closing my eyes. My headache was starting to kick in early.

"What time did you come in?" she sounded upset yet worried.

"Like around 1:30?" I asked still trying to get up. "That's normal."

"No, not for you. That was normal for you during first year but not now. So, where the fuck were you?" she demanded to know as she pried the blankets off me.

I stood up in my bed and glared at her. "Fuck, mom. I was meeting a friend," I yawned.

"Don't give me that crap. You didn't tell me in advance! And you usually do!"

"Oh my fuckin-things happened, Ann. A friend called me up asking to talk, so we did," I fought walking over to my dresser and put my hair into a ponytail. I looked at the knick knacks that sprawled on top of my dresser and found a lot of things that were in sky blue. "He needed to talk to me about personal shit he was dealing with so I complied," I firmly stated looking at her through the mirror.

Annalyn looked at me not too convinced and huffed while crossing her arms. "Which friend?"

"MOM!" I yelled turning around and giving her a "wtf" face. "Why are you being so uptight?"

"Because I'm worried that you were doing something stupid last night! I'm worried that you might've gone to a bar because that's usually when you come home late. You never come home late and if you do you let me fucking know!"

"I told you it just fucking came up. And I didn't drink last night, I swear," I argued. Annalyn was smart and she knew something was wrong with me the moment she was around me. It was both a blessing and a curse. "I'm fine," I tried to convince her with a smile and hands out.

She embraced me in a hug, "You have to let me know. I get so worried about you."

"Yes, mother, we all fucking know," I rolled my eyes.

"I hate it when you call me that," she glared pulling away from me.

The morning overwhelmed me with so many colors and just a lot of different lighting. Even when I came into work it was the same. Some people noticed how off-set I was, but they just brushed it off as my usual morning antics. Sorting through the CD's, I suddenly felt my phone vibrate. It was a text from Luke.

Are you going to the concert on Monday?

*Why do you want to know?*

'Cuz you were at the fan signing so I thought you were going :(

I chuckled to myself. *Yeah I am.*

I knew I was being cold but I needed him to get the hint that I wasn't going to go along with him. I didn't want so many things happening to me.

Okay. Where are you sitting?

*Are you gonna stalk me if I tell you?*

LOL no but where are you sitting? :)

*I'm sitting in the loge*

D: that's so fking far from the stage!

*Um no it's closer than the terrace :)*
