Two weeks later
I am sitting on my bed scrolling through my instagram feed, when someone knocks. "Come in." I say. It's Zoe. I wasn't expecting her. "Hey you." She says and comes over to hug me. "Guess what?!" She asks. "What?" I really want to know! "Your coming to live with us now kiddo." She says. "I am now your official mum." I clap my hands, happy at the news, and we hug for a long time. "Come on!" She shouts excitedly. "Pack your stuff and get dressed!"
Sam brings up some boxes for me and I pull out my turquoise suitcase from the wardrobe. I dress in a Pink Floyd tee, army jacket, red converse, and denim shorts. I stuff things like my laptop, magazines, phone, chargers, and all that stuff into a leather satchel I have. Then I pack up all of my clothes (Not very many) into the suitcase. My posters, old stuffed animals, Cd's, films, books, pictures, etc. I pick one up of me and Sam together and I hold it tight to my chest before putting it in the pictures and books box. I pull the fairy lights that Zoe got for my new room off of my headboard and put them in the decor box with my posters. When I am done with that I go to the bathroom and empty the contents of my box into my suitcase. Alfie comes up and helps me load my luggage into the car. I hug Meg, Sam, and Cameron goodbye, and even hug everyone else like Sarah, Cade, Caleb, Vince and the rest. I thank Ms. Emily and Zoe takes my hand. We walk to the car together and I watch out the window as we leave my old home, my friends, and enter my new life, with Zalfie. All I can hope is that this goes well and that they love me, because I really do love my new Mum and Dad.
