6: Home Sweet Home

When we arrive in Brighton I look at my new town with more interest then when I was just a tourist. Alfie pulled in to the drive and said "We're here."

We unloaded all of my stuff and brought it up to my room. I loved my room so much, and it was pretty much plain. All of my new stuff was in the walk in closet. It was about 4:30, so Alfie and Zoe left me to unpack and got started on dinner. I got out my colourful pillows and floral bedspread, and replace the white duvet with the floral and navy one. I put my white accent blanket on the end of the bed and hang my fairy lights on my headboard. Zoe has already put my new bedside table, chair, and plant in place. She said I can change my room, or decide to keep it every year. I put all of my clothes in my closet, books on bookshelves and all that stuff. By the time I am done, dinner's scent is wafting upstairs. Alfie calls to tell me as well and I jog downstairs to an amazing scent of spaghetti bolognese. I sit down with Zo, and Alfie at the table and we start eating. "We need to talk about a few things." Zoe says. I nod and look at her and Alfie. "First of all. Do you want to be homeschooled or go to Private school? The private school that Alfie went to, to be exact."

"Could I be homeschooled?" I ask. A weight seems to be lifted from their shoulders. "Great." Zoe says. "Okay. Are you okay with being in our Youtube videos?"

"Of course!" I say. My tone turns form excited to shy. "Maybe I could start my own Youtube channel. Is that okay?" I ask. "Of course it is sweetheart." Alfie says. Zoe says "That is a very good idea Grace!"

I smile. "We can set it up after dinner." I nod and Zoe continues. "Okay. This is working out very nicely. You already know where everything is, you have said homeschooling is good, you are okay with being in videos." She thinks aloud. "What else? I think we have covered everything. I interject. "What am I aloud to call you?" I ask. "You can call us anything!" Zoe replies. "I would like to call you Mum and Dad then if that's okay." I say. "Sometimes Zoe and Alfie too." Zoe nods. "Whatever makes you happy." Alfie looks at me and agrees by nodding. We continue to eat dinner with conversation about anything really, like what I want my Youtube channel to be about.

After dinner we turn on the tv and me and Zoe sit on the couch to start my channel. The screen prompts us to enter a channel name. "What do you think?" Zoe asks. "Hmmmm. Dunno, you?"

"Maybe... Grace Sugg."

"Grace Place. No actually now that I say that it sounds pretty bad."

"Grace Grace?"

"Grace Deyes."

"Grace Suyes?"

"Grace Sugg_Deyes?"

Zoe comes up with a whole bunch of ideas but finally the perfect name comes to me. "Queen Sugg." I say. Zoe nods quickly. "That's perfect!" She types it in and that is set. Together we make some pretty awesome channel art. When my channel is done, I change my social media names, and we film intro videos for me on both Alfie and Zoe's channels. We start with Alfie's: Pointlessblog

I start off camera. Zoe and Alfie sit and talk. "Hey guys!" Alfie says he famous line. "So today I am here with Zoe/Zoella because we have something very important to tell you. We hope that you support us in our decision. Without further a due we present to you: Grace Deyes Sugg! I stop the recording then restart it and walk over. I sit on the couch and we wait five seconds so the footage of my walking can be cut out. "Hi!" I say and wave. "Yes we have adopted!" Alfie says. Nala runs to us and I pick her up. Zoe smiles and hugs me and Alfie continues. "Our new daughter has a youtube channel that you can go subscribe to: Queen Sugg. She also has twitter, and Instagram.

We all hug and wave. Then Alfie gets up and turns off the camera. Zoe's turn. He turns it back on. And walks in while I walk out. "Hi guys. It's Zoe and I am here with Alfie because something has come up." Alfie puts his arm around her and Zo continues. "We have adopted!" I walk into the frame and sit down. "This is Grace." I wave. "Hi." Zoe gives me a hug and Nala tries to get on her lap. I lift her and we continue. "Grace also has a Youtube channel which will be linked in the description. It's: Queen Sugg.

Grace also has instagram and Twitter.

and @ Grace_SuggD" She smiles. "Soooo that's it for now. Bye guys!" We all wave and Nala barks. Alfie gets up and turns the camera off once again. He goes to the office to separate the files on a usb for Zoe.

They both edit their videos while I make an intro for my channel. In 10 minutes I achieve 12,067 subscribers. I shut my mac book and go see the final product of Zoe's and Alfie's videos, which have been uploaded for about 15 minutes. Alfie stands and starts making dinner. I ask Zoe if I can take the USB and she nods. I take it and edit my video on Alfie's laptop after I get his permission because he has better software. My video is short, so it's done in about 20 minutes. We eat dinner and after I check my account. 407,001 subscribers, and about 2 M followers on both Twitter and Instagram. THAT WENT FAST. I am just happy that everything is going great.
