Chapter 11

*Nadine's P.O.V*

The movie ended and Bailey had to go, unfortunately. Leondre seemed pretty pleased about it though, I didn't really get why he didn't like Bailey.

After Bailey left Leo and I began to talk as we sat on my bed in my room. It was general conversation until we began talking about Sinead.

"Yeah I don't really know about her anymore..." Leo said quietly.

"What do you mean?" I asked in confusion.

"I don't really think I want to be with her anymore.." He said looking guilty.

Normally I would get mad at Leo for trying to break my best friends heart, but I didn't, Leondre has the right to break up with her if he wanted to.

But another part of me said that I wasn't being a good friend.

"Why?" I asked, ignoring the two voices in my head which were arguing with each other.

He mumbled a response which I obviously didn't get.

"I think I like someone else." Leo answered quietly.

"Really? Who?" I asked in surprise.

He sighed and looked down, I could sense that something was up, he didn't look happy at all, and that made me worried.

"I just think that I like..you." Leondre whispered. I was shocked, I've been so close with this kid for years and I'd never imagine him being with anyone else except from Sinead. But I also liked the fact that he liked me.

It made me feel good about myself, and the face that he actually said it to me personally made me like him even more.

But I couldn't do that to Sinead, she'd hate me forever.

I wanted to be with Leo.

And I only just realised that.

As I was about to answer my phone began to ring.

"I'm sorry." I smiled apologetically, picking up my phone to realise it was Charlie.

As soon as I heard his voice, I hung up, not wanting to hear him. I didn't want anything to do with him at the moment, he hurt me and he hurt Leo.

He could have Sinead. Even though she was my best friend, she could also be a bitch when she wanted.

"Are you okay?" Leo asked, clearly noticing the worried look that was in my face.

"Yeah." I gave a small smile, I felt his arms wrap round me protectively, making me feel safe.

Maybe it wasn't Charlie that I liked after all. What if I liked Leo all this time and haven't noticed?
