-Charlie's P.O.V-

Talk? It was more than a talk. It was coming out. Wait...that's makes it sound like I'm gonna tell Nadine I'm gay...

I'm not. Honest.

Maybe a bit.

I'm kidding...😉

Anyway back to the subject, I started to get really nervous about telling Nadine about...yeah.

We didn't talk much on the way to hers. We just walked in silence mostly, a comfortable silence.

When we got there we went to the door and Nadine unlocked it, probably meaning there was no one home.

We went inside and noticed the lights were on in the lounge. We walked in slowly with confusion written all over our faces...

Oh wow.
Sinead.

What was she doing here for gods sake?! I couldn't tell Nadine now!

"What are you doing here?" Nadine demanded an answer.
"I came here looking for...Leo." She answered unsurely.

"Well you ain't gonna find him here, you can leave now." Nadine scoffed, giving Sinead a disapproving look.

"Please just listen to me." Sinead pleaded.

"Listen to you? I've listened to you for years Sinead but it never done me any good. You come into my house without permission, that's trespassing! I could call the police! Just get out and find Leo somewhere else." Nadine replied in anger.

I was taken aback, sure Nadine was always sarcastic and but that wasn't being for real, I never though she would have a go at Sinead, at her best friend.

Sinead's expression was unreadable, it went from sad to angry and then to guilty. I felt sorry for her. I watched her as she went back through the front door and closed it behind her.

"You didn't have to be so harsh." I said quietly. Nadine glared at me.

"I don't even know why I let you in here. You're just like Sinead, arrogant and selfish. I don't want to hear what you want to say anymore. I need to be alone." She stated.

"But I have to tell you! It's important, give me 5 minutes to say it and the I'm gone, I promise you." I begged her.

"I don't have to let you." Nadine said.

"I know you don't." I admitted.

"Then why are you even trying?!" She half shouted in annoyance.

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!" I shouted back at her, her eyes were unreadable, I couldn't tell how she felt about what I just said, it was as if all her feelings have been drained out of her.

"I'll go now..." I whispered to myself, my voice hoarse.

I turned on my heel and walked out of the door before hearing Nadine's voice quietly say, "I love you too."

Maybe I was imagining it but she thought I was already gone..so I closed the door behind me and sighed.

Nothing is ever going right nowadays.
