Chapter 2 ~ April's pov

I sit near the front next to my best friend Sam. We greet each other and describe what the day is going to be like. I glance back at my sister and her friend Joey. I never liked Joey. He gets on my nerves alot and that doesn't help because Charlie always invites him over. I look back at Sam and she's smiling.

"What?" I ask giggling.

"Oh nothing. Hey I'm so excited for today! In my art class we are presenting out photography from last nights moon." She said enthusatically. I sigh and roll my eyes.

"You and your photography,"

We finally arrive at school and Sam and I are last to leave. I grab my bag and we head out to our lockers to unload the fifty kilos of books. The bell goes and we head inside. School is normal except Sam isn't with me for my english or science so I sit next to my sister with her friend Joey always by her side. In english I always pay attention and never miss a detail and always get striaght A's in it. I love writing stories and my own creative creations. Science is my worst subject. I sometimes fall asleep in it and fail my tests all the time. All other subjects are normal C's for me. At lunch I try and find Sam but I can't so I decide to eat by my self while sketching new ideas for my stories. The latest one is one about a girl that ventures out into the wild and gets lost and has to survive the harsh weather conditions and nature and animals. SHe's tough. Almost like me. I would consider myself tough and serious because I never cry infront of people and I barely smile. On the bus ride home I sit alone because Sam went home early because her mum needed her. I don't know why and I don't think she will ever tell me. She doesn't like talking about her family or home. As I sit alone a boy behind me starts to throw bits of paper at me. I pick them up and throw them onto the ground ignoring it. He keeps going though and I couldn't stand it. I stand up and grab his bag and smash it to the  floor. That shuts him up and just in time because my stop is here and I get off the bus quickly before I get some sort of detention. It wasn't a good day after all but at least I'm home now.
