[Author's POV]
'Where is this dude ?' Hana was queuing to buy some popcorn and sodas for them and Taehyung was nowhere to be seen.
'Next.' It was her turn. 'Yes, miss. What are you watching ?'
'Holiday House for two.'
'The latest showtime will be an hour from now. Would you still like to proceed ?' Hana agreed. She then choosed the available seat furthest from the screen. She wanted to buy some popcorn but it was still early. She'll buy a big popcorn to share later. She figured Taehyung wouldn't eat that much since they have agreed to eat dinner first, before going out. Not that she had any since her dad was in a bad mood.
Thank god he didn't do anything to her face or else she would have a difficult time trying to cover it up until it was decent enough to go out with.
She looked around saw no sight of Taehyung. She looked at her watch and decided that she'll wait for him at the bench on the waiting area at the cinema. She took out her phone to call Taehyung.
'Hello.' The voice on the other end could be heard.
'Where are you ? I looked so stupid waiting here alone like a loner.' Hana complained.
'No you didn't. I think you look pretty cute.' Taehyung teased her. He actually just saw her before she called. Hana glanced around and spotted Taehyung nearing her.
'Ugh. Walk faster, sloth.' Taehyung laughed at Hana's annoyed voice as she ended the call.
'I bought the ticket but it's one hour from now. Why are you late ?' Taehyung sat beside her on the metal bench.
'I'm so sorry. My mom was too excited when she found out I was going to meet you. She was following me everywhere giving me advices and whatnot. I have to explain to her a thousand times that it's not a date and it's just a bet you lost. Ugh.' Taehyung complained. Hana laughed hearing Mrs. Kim cute behavior.
Taehyung took in Hana's appearance for the evening. She was wearing a white jeans and baby blue chiffon t shirt. She has her cream cardigan on that completed her look. Her hair was down and Taehyung has to admit she looked pretty. When he was this close to her, he noticed that she put some light make up on.
'You look very nice.' The compliment slipped out of Taehyung's tongue before he could even stop himself. Hana blushed. She admitted she did put an effort to look presentable that evening.
'You don't look bad yourself.' Hana said and raised her eyebrows jokingly to lighten up the mood. Taehyung was indeed, looking nice. He has his black leather jacket on with a white t shirt underneath. He paired it with a jeans and he has his hair slicked back.
'So, since we still have an hour to kill, why not we go somewhere ? My mom gave me some money to spoil you with. Any place in mind ?' Taehyung changed the topic and rose to his feet.
'Awww, that's nice of her. Can we go the bookstore ? There's a newly released book that I want.' Hana asked. Taehyung smiled at her cute pleading face.
'Sure.' They started heading to the bookstore on the lower floor. Hana stopped to buy a chocolate pretzel on their way to the bookstore.
Taehyung watched Hana walked before him, enjoying the pretzel. The smile on his face died as his gaze lingered on the scar at Hana's back. Just for once, he wished he couldn't see these scars because it hurts him to know that someone so bright could carry that much burden.

Hana was nowhere to be seen. She disappeared further into the bookstore once they entered. Taehyung just shook his head watching Hana excited face.
