>Dani's POV<

When I woke up the next morning I saw everyone had already left for breakfast. Sarah was the only one left in the room. She stood in front of the mirror, trying to make a ponytail.

"Shall I help?"

She turned around and smiled. I grabbed my comb and brushed her hair. She really has beautiful hair, very thick and curly. I tied her hair back in a ponytail with a brown hairband.

"What are you going to wear?" I asked. She already wore her black shirts but she still had her sleep-shirt on.

"I don't know, I don't have that many clothes."

She is right. She only brought one bag where all her stuff fit in.

"You can borrow some clothes from me." I took a green top with short sleeves from my drawer. "This one?"

She shook her head. She grabbed a blue T-shirt with long sleeves. "Can I wear this one?"

I shrugged. "Yeah, sure. It's going to be really hot, though. Wouldn't you want to wear something with shorter sleeves?" She shook her head again. "Alright than. Can you braid my hair?"

She made two braids in my hair and together we walked down for breakfast. There was no food left and all the kids had started with their school work.

"Good morning, ladies." My mom said.

"Good morning mom." I turned to Sarah. "Shall I make pancakes? Or would you like to have something else?"

"No, I am fine with pancakes." She answered. I hurried to the kitchen.

>Sarah's POV<

"Did you already decide? Home schooling or regular schooling?" Lynne asked.

I shook my head. I was planning to go to public school so I could get away from the family. But now I have made friends with some of them, I don't know what to do. I might fall behind with home schooling.

"If you are scared about falling behind," Lynne said as if she could read my mind. "You shouldn't be. I actually think it will be easier for you. You can work at your own pace."

"Okay. Won't it be more work for you if I had to be home schooled?"

"Hun, I have twelve kids now. You have the same right to be home schooled as the rest."

I smiled and walked over to the kitchen were Dani was making pancakes. Dani was right. It's still morning but it's really hot in southern California, hotter than I am used to. I can't wear short sleeves,  though, not until all my scars on my arm are gone.

After breakfast we started with school. I got some old books from Lauren who already was two grades further, even though she is only one year older. Dani was also one grade above me.

"You won't be behind for long." She said. "Home schooling is much easier and faster."

I actually really like the whole self teaching thing. They were right, it's much easier. You just read the explanation and if you don't understand anything, it is a household with 13 people who can all  help you.

Dani passed a note to me while I was busy with algebra.

"Shall we ditch the rest of the classes today?" I smiled. "There is not such thing as ditching in home-school." I whispered.

"Oh, yes there is. Just make sure mom believes that we are ready. Watch me." Dani walked over to here mom who was sitting behind the computer on the other side of the table, she had just finished explaining Joey something.
