Into the woods with BVB

Chapter 3

By now they were well and truly lost and they didn't know if it was day or night because of the forests thick leafy covering, blocking out any view of the sky.

"I think it's time we split up and look for any possible way out or to where Killer and Tokoyo are." Andy told them.
"We're too tired to go on any further" the others said, lying on some mossy patches on the ground.
"I'll go and let you lot rest. If I find a way then I'll come back and tell you" Andy stood with his arms folded and when the others nodded he turned to his left and continued deeper into the thicket, remembering to leave bits of his cigarette packet on the ground so he could retrace his steps later.

He had been walking for some time, his red cape flapping behind, always looking about himself to make sure there were no monster-type things following him.
Suddenly he heard shuffling up ahead. He froze. What could it be?
Andy walked up closer to where he heard the noise.
Shuffle-shuffle
He heard it again. Andy strained his eyes as he looked at the ghostly trees in front. Suddenly he saw a long fluffy tail quickly flick behind a tree. Could it be a Fox?
"Hello? Who's there?" Andy called to the creature behind the tree. He waited for a response.
Andy waited until he saw a big black nose pop out behind the tree. It started sniffing at the air, picking up Andy's scent.
"Its ok. I won't hurt you" Andy took a step closer, the nose stiffened.

From behind the tree came a furry head with two big round hazel eyes, glistening in the shadows of the trees. It seemed like a big creature and suddenly Andy felt slightly fearful. Could it eat him?
From behind these eyes Andy saw two erect ears, pointing straight up, picking up every sound that was made.
Andy tried to look big and scary. The creature growled, showing big white teeth shaped like daggers. Andy looked at these menacing teeth and saw something shining on its bottom lip. Could that be a piercing?

Slowly it started to lumber forward, coming out of its hiding place. Across its waist was a belt with a skull on it and as it got nearer Andy realised that it must be some kind of werewolf. Andy was ready to run any second now.
"Hahaha, I'm not gonna hurt you. Tell me, why are you here?" The wolf (aka Kier Kemp) stood only half a metre from Andy and it looked slightly peculiar seeing a wolf with a English accent, standing on its hind legs dressed as it was.
"Well we eh, well me and my mate's came in here looking for, eh, two dogs and we're lost so now, eh, I'm coming to find a way out or to where the dogs are..." Andy's voice trailed off.
"I see. Well I can help you you know" the wolf said slyly. Andy had read about wolves in books before, how they always tricked you.
"How can you help?" Andy said suspiciously.
"Well I only help people if they give me something in return..." the wolf continued.
"What do you want?" Andy asked.
"Hhhmm" thought the wolf. His hazel eyes noticed the bright red cape which Andy had still been wearing since the party and it appealed to him.
"I really like your cape" Kier the wolf said.
"My cape?"
"Yes. I'd like your cape in exchange for my help. Deal?"
Andy really liked his cape. But he and the guys were desperate. "Sure. Deal" and he took off the cape and was going to give it to the wolf.
"Hand it over" the wolf grabbed the cape.
"How can I trust you?" Andy asked, still unconvinced that he could trust the wolf.
"If I just wanted your cape then I'd have been off with it long ago. Now hand it over" and Andy did so.
"Now tell me where I can find the dogs or a way out" Andy ordered.
"Well. If you're looking for your dogs I saw them go that way. They were taken by a panda called Laurence" the wolf pointed a bony finger along a row of rickety trees.
Now, if anyone else had said this Andy wouldn't have believed them but since so many strange things had already happened Andy believed Kier the wolf.
"What will Laurence do to them?" Andy seemed slightly panicked by the fact that it was a panda out of all the creatures it could've been.
"That question was not part of our deal. Good day" and with the swish of his tail the wolf was gone, disappearing into the distance.
