(Unknown POV)
The muffled sounds of leafs crunching beneath me feet where echoing threw the thick woods where I kept hearing small laughs and chuckles in the distance.
Each step made my heart skip a beat.
Each step forced me look back to check for someone following me.
Each step took me deeper into the woods.
Still hearing the small laughs escalate threw the woods almost made me break into a run, but instead I kept walking. Pretending not to hear a thing. For a moment I think I'm alone since I no longer hear the sound of the persons laughs, but now I hear twigs beginning to beak. As if someone was running. Running so quickly where it sounded like they would be there in 2 more seconds. Running like someone or something knew what it came here for.
Then I stopped. Everything was silent. I couldn't even hear the wind blowing threw the trees around me anymore. The creatures that lived in the woods didn't even flinch. Nothing hit the ground and nothing moved in the trees. Complete silence as if someone hit a mute button on a remote.
I looked down at my feet seeing the mud caked up on them from walking so far.
"Damn." I said under my breath. And its like that one word made everything come back. The wind in the trees. The sounds of the animals moving threw the woods and even the chuckles and laughter from the still unknown person.
I picked up my speed only going slightly faster than before so it doesn't look like I know anything, but before I knew it time stopped again. I couldn't move and that reason being was because I felt breathing. Right behind me. Right on my neck.
Before I could move the person put their slender fingers over my mouth squeezing and pressing harder on my mouth to make sure I couldn't get one breath threw the small fingers. Instead I breathed threw my nose not bothering to put up a fight.
I felt the breath stop then lean in closer. "You shouldn't be up past your bedtime." The thick voice rang threw my ears making it obvious it was a man or more like a boy.
He loosened his hand from my mouth as a way to ask me to speak. "Who are you?" I whispered. Afraid if I spoke too loudly he would tighten his hand on my mouth again.
"Have you no manners.. You should always introduce yourself before asking for someone's name." he said gripping tighter onto my mouth once again. "..,but since you asked... I'm Jeff."
That's the last words I heard before he plunged a knife threw my throat cutting it sideways killing me immediately making me fall against the crunchy leafs underneath me.
(No one's POV)
Jeff admired his kill. Waiting a moment before tearing his kill apart he actually looked at her. Her long blonde hair with leaves all threw it due to her still laying on the ground. The blood already drenching her hair. He face showed no sadness. No fear and nothing but joy. It was like she knew it was going to happen and she was happy it did.
Jeff took no time shaking the thoughts from his head and bending down on his knees to be in a better position before he made his masterpiece.
He took the knife digging it into the bottom of he stomach before pulling it all the way upwards cutting her fully open so her organs and intestines where on full display.
He began scooping the kidneys out and putting them in one pile before taking the intestines and tearing at them not being neat with it at all. The blood and fingerprints getting all over his white hoodie, but that didn't stop him. He took the knife once more cutting the woman's heart open shredding it to prices a lot with the lungs next to it. Just before he was done he took his knife for the last time before pulling her mouth open and adjusting the knife inside ripping from one corner of her mouth to her ear and the same with the other side.
He stood up admiring his work one more before walking off and mumbling a "Go to sleep."
