"Stop, no! You can't leave me like this. You just can't!" She exclaimed.

Her eyes filled with tears as she grabbed onto the boys arm for life. He couldn't leave. He was her rock, what was she going to do without him? He wouldn't be there to pick her up when her dad was drinking, he wouldn't be there to stop her from ending it all. He wouldn't be there to care for her.

The boy looked down at her, looking deeply in her eyes, placing his hands on her cheeks softly, wiping the tears away with his thumb softly.

"I have to, I'm so sorry" he said with a sad tone.

She cried.

"But you promised.." she whispered, her voice cracking slightly, tears streaming down her face.

He sighed, placing one last kiss on her soft lips.

"I love you, just don't you ever forget about me.." He mumbled against her lips as he walked to his three friends whom were waiting in the car.

She broke down, her knees caved in and she collapsed on the floor, sobbing, holding her stomach as the love of her life drove away to live his dream.

"I need you.." She cried as she held the necklace he got her for their one year anniversary.

2 years had passed and he was happy. He was living his dream, touring with his best friends and doing what he loved, she would always cross his mind, on stage, at interviews, whilst he was travelling, one tiny thing would make him remember about her. It could have been the way someone laughed, what they were wearing, how they smelt. He wandered where she was.

She was getting ready for a concert, his concert. She got front row seats, she was scared but excited, she was happy he was happy but she was sad because he wasn't happy with her.

She sat in the front row, her seat right in front of him, she loved seeing how happy being on stage made him.

He sang and looked down to see her, he went blank, he forget what was going on, forgot how to play his bass guitar, he cleared his throat after a split second and caught up, his band mates looking over to see what was going on, they all looked to see what their friend was looking at, and it was you.

The girl who had loved their best friend for a solid year. As the boys walked off stage, grabbing towels and wiping their face, the boy told security to bring you backstage.
