I was woken up by a thought.

I decided to get up and walk to the closest store of restaurant.

I saw a Mickey D's and opened the door and ordered her favorites, I even got lucky that they had some apple pies and their seasonal pumpkin pies.

"And two caramel and mocha grapes please?" I said.

The girl looked at me and was creeped out.

"My girlfriend is in the hospital. I want to make her feel better. Next time don't judge. I'm the one ordering and you're the one taking my order down. Now how much is that?"

"34 dollars and 69 cents."

I laughed and gave her my card.

"You're in the army? Oh my god Sam? Is that really you?" The girl asked me.

"Uh yes that is my name on the card and on my birth certificate."

"Oh god I'm sorry you probably don't remember me." She said and grabbed her phone.

I waited for her to show me whatever it was. And I then started realizing who she was.

"Oh my god Lily? Whoa oh my god how are you? Come here! You haven't grown oh my god. I'm kidding how's your parents? Where did you guys move to? Wow I remember I used to baby sit you. Oh my booger is all grown up. Please tell me this is just a temporary job." I looked at her.

"Yes it is, but I do other jobs. Mainly trying to find what I want to do in life." She said.

"Good and I better not walk into a stripper club and see you dancing."

"Eww you will not see me in that nasty germ-filled pig stide." She gawked.

I laughed and she looked at me and gave me my card.

"It was nice to see you Lily."

"Yeah it was. It's been a while big bro." She smiled and hugged me again before giving my food.

"Thanks little one."

I walked away and headed back to the hospital.

The nurse at the reception desk saw me with the bag of Mickey D's and I laughed cause I gave her one of the pies.

"Aww you're too sweet thanks doll."

I laughed and walked into her room quietly.

It was a bit dark in here so I tried to walk straight.

Then plans changed when I bumped into her table.

"Thanks for trying to be quiet." She laughed and sat up.

"Haha, glad to see you're up. Want some food?" I asked her.

"Yes that would be lovely. I need to brush my teeth though." She said.

"But you always did that after you ate." I said.

"Aww really? Lord why do you remember that?" She laughed.

"Cause it was one of my pet peeves."

"Oh really, well what's your other pet peeves? And you brought me Mickey D's!!" She shrieked and grabbed the bag and grabbed the hash browns and one of the sandwiches.

I looked at her eat and I put her frappe in front of her plate and she literally smiled harder.

I laughed and got on the bed.

I laid back and saw her pig out.

"Now what are your pet peeves?" She asked.

"Well the brushing your teeth after you eat. I brush mine twice in the morning, in the afternoon and in the night. Mainly before and after each meal. It's difficult to explain." I said.

"Damn babe, you sound like a freak." She said and I laughed cause when I told her that the first time she asked me about my pet peeves she said the same exact thing.

"That's it?" She groaned.

"No love, there's more. I hate when you leave your girly things out like your tampons. Or the times when you cook and don't wash your pans or bowls till after 8. I remember one time you left them till 3 in the morning. There's time when we're watching a movie, and if you've seen it, you'll try and ruin it for me. Always did that when we watched movies that you picked." I laughed.

She smiled and frowned.

"I wish I remember all of that. And I've noticed that no one has come to see me. Not even Jacob." She said.

Cause I texted everyone last night that I didn't want anyone to come over at all. I needed this time with her. They can come over later I told them.

"Isn't that strange?" She asked.

"Well your brothers and Minnie are coming over later love and your parents are coming at noon."

Great I will be seeing her mom after her fake incident. She doesn't even know I'm here. But I told her dad I would be here. Hope he didn't tell her. Doubt he did, cause he likes the looks on her face when she's disappointed or gets her plans ruined.

"I really appreciate you for this." She said.

" I need to baby girl, you were having our kids. I feel bad that you even had to go through everything so fast in only a few months. But I have one question, did he hurt you?"

"What? Are you asking me if Jacob ever hit me?" She gasped.

"Yes, I am asking that."

"No he never hit me, he loves me and wanted this baby, well babies. And did you say "our babies"? I could've sworn they were Jacob's." She said.

" Okay I need to explain it to you."

"Uh okay." She said.

"You and Jacob were together from sophomore year till mid junior year. You and him had a fall out he cheated on you with Vicky. Vicky was mad that he used both of you guys but she loved him more than you can ever imagine. He left you for him because I had already taken you away from him. It took a few months but I made it happen and you were happy with me. We went to prom together. And it was just beautiful. But then one night I had gotten a call from the army. A while back when I was a freshmen my uncle had passed but before he passed he said I should be a hero and in order to be that hero I would have to be in the service. So I enlisted myself once I turned 18 I would belong to them. But I forgot about it and that night they called me was your worst nightmare. You then went back to your old hobby." I said and looked at her and hugged her tighter.

"I'll save the rest of that story for a another day. Today you need to rest a bit and see your family. I don't want you thinking about it too much. Now let's finish up eating then get you all washed up and dressed then watch some tv or nap till your parents come in." I said and kissed her forehead.
