.Riley.

"Riley you up darling?" She asked me.

I turned my head away from the window and saw my mom with some flowers.

"I feel like shit!" I groaned.

"Oh hush up, it's just the aftermath from those pills the doctor gave you." She smiled and held my hand.

"Pills? For what?" I asked.

"Nothing serious." She said.

"Mom?!" I warned her.

"What Riley?" She asked.

"Mom why did the doctor give me pills?" I asked her furious.

"Sweetheart it's just some pills you needed for your memory. That's all." She said.

"MOM!!!" I screamed.

"Riley I did what I needed to do. What exactly do you remember, hun?" She smiled.

"Not much. Um where's Sam?" I asked.

"He went to the Military." She sighed.

"What do you mean to the Military? Is he okay?" I asked.

"He's okay hun, shouldnt you be worrying about your husband?" She questioned.

"My husband? Who's my husband?" I asked.

A knock disturbed us, and Jacob came in.

"Hi babe." He smiled and ran towards my side.

"I was so worried, I came home and found you in the bathtub with the cuts all around your arms. You promised me you'd never cut yourself ever again and you lied. But I forgive you honey." He said and kissed my forehead.

His touch didnt feel right.

Sam came into my mind.

His perfect pink lips.

That brown head of his..

"Riley?" Jacob said.

"Sorry. Um hi, so you're my husband?" I asked.

"Not yet, I'm your fiancé." He smiled.

"Ohh!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah babe look at your hand." He frowned.

"Wow that's big!" I smiled.

"Yep and just wait till the girls hear about it back at work." He said.

What girls?

"The girls?" I asked.

"Uh yeah Violet and Justine. Gosh you forgot about them too." He frowned.

"Uh I think I need to rest. My head hurts." I said and yawned.

"Oh okay, come on Mel." He said and kissed me.

Mom kissed my forehead and walked away with my fiancé.

The thing is I was just confused.

My memory of everything was just a blur.

A blur nothing at all.

.Sam.

The last twelve hours have been hell.

Before I left for this ten hour ride to my destination, I left Riley the letter on our bed.

I didn't let go our good memories and the bad memories.

I put all of them on that shitty letter.

From the first time I met her in physics to the time Jacob punched me cause of her confession in the locker room.
