Prologue
Okay. So, how do I start?
Once upon a time... Wait, no. That's way too cliché. It was a dark and stormy night when... That's so original. Not. Just the other day, I... Hmm, I suppose it's getting better.
Imagine if, ah, perfect. Okay. Let's start over.
Imagine if you had to write a book which was dedicated to your private life explaining your past events- but only from the part where it became 'interesting'.You're thinking of a biography? No. This isn't a biography.
Imagine if you were forced to spill your deepest and darkest secrets, from which you worked so hard to hide, allowing the whole world to judge you. Think I am over reacting? Look, you're already judging me.
Imagine if you had to reveal the foolish reason why something that any sane person would ignore, influenced you so much that it caused your whole life to follow a completely different track. Imagine if- I'm starting to think I should have named this thing 'Imagine if'.
Ok, so to sum it up; I recently experienced a traumatising life event and therefore, have been forced to explain it in full detail to a bunch of nosy old buggers.
Not wanting to verbally explicate, I was then suggested to write my past but just for "my own benefit". Only as soon as I finish writing my past, this book will be analysed by those nosy buggers and then labelled into a category, to help with future references they think suitable for my problem. So, not just for my own benefit, huh?
They somehow think that it will help me overcome the product of the event. That this will change me back to who I was before. They think that I could simply forget and move on with my life. That the scars, inside and out, will magically fade away and resume back to the time where everything, compared to now, was perfect. Apparently, they think that the people who saw me change, will simply forget and never cast me those dirty looks again.
Let's see if it works then. Writing my past, from the 'beginning'. From where it got "interesting".
Let's see if I can overcome the event.
Let's see if can recover and return back to who I was before.
Let's see, if I can forget and move on.
So let's start my story. My story that changed me. My story that started: Online.
