"What about her?" Derek pointed to the tall, thin brunette thrusting her hips to the beat of the music. Even from here I could tell her face was caked in make-up: definitely not kissable.
"Isn't she the girl you were with last week?"
He squinted his eyes in attempt to make-our the leggy woman across the dance floor. "Oh right" he said as his face registered who she was. "She's pretty good though, not bad at all."
I frowned at him. "I don't want your leftovers man."
"Alex, don't be so picky" he took a swig of beer, "How 'bout her?" He pointed to a curvy red head sitting across the bar from us.
"Eh I dunno. Not really my type" I looked down at my drink. Or rather, what was left of it.
"Not your type? Dude she's a woman, of course she's your type. Grow some balls and go over there...or I will" he said mildly annoyed.
With a sigh I got up and headed over to her from behind. My eyes fell on her dress and the exposed skin of her back. The black fabric clung to her tightly, accentuating her curvy figure. Her blazing red-hair fell in tendrils down her back. I could already tell she was screaming to be noticed.
"Excuse me" I placed my hand on the small of her back. I felt her jump a little. I smiled. This one would be easy.
"Your glass is looking a little empty. Can I help with that?" I flashed her my smile. I had a sexy smile, mind as well use it.
"Perhaps" she purred, cheeks flushing red. She stoop up a little straighter, attempting to seem confident.
"Bartender! Can we get this lovely lady a-a" Wait what was she drinking? "A refill!"
A smile stretched across her face. Her dark, brown eyes dropped from my lips to my biceps. She was checking me out, guess those bench presses were worth it.
The bartender arrived with her drink: Apple Martini. Hah. I should have known, such a girly drink. She sipped it cautiously, keep her eyes glued to my...my pants? I grinned.
"So hun, you have a name?"
"Vanessa" she choked out as I flexed my biceps.
"Wow what a great name" I lied. She pressed her body closer to me in response. I could feel her quickening heartbeat. Typical. I always had this effect on woman.
"So Vanessa" I said huskily; girls loved those deep voices, my voice dropped to a whisper as my lips met her ear, "Wanna get outta here?" I winked mischievously. She nodded quickly in response.
God I was good.
