Chapter 7: The Photoshoot

Monday 7:00 A.M.

Soojung's P.O.V.

I just arrived at the S.M. building and met up with my old teacher, Park Suyeon.

"Soojung, there is going to be a photoshoot really soon today. This is your first assignment. You will be assigned two members of the group. We are kinda running low on make up artists. This group will be permanent. We moght use you as a make up artist with another group if we need you. You will have to do this make up and hair according to the concept that is given. If you have any questions, just ask your coworkers. They don't bite."

9:00 A.M.

She directed me to room 302. When I entered I was greeted and introduced to my team, 5 other people. They were just cleaning up and getting ready to receive the group. After I cleaned up my work area, I just waited for a few minutes. I was playing on my phone and talking to my colleagues. They were asking me where I was from and thing like that. Small Talk. Such a pro at it. The director of the photoshoot came in and...

"Soojung?"

"Yura? You are the director?"

"Yeah! Remember that I told you I was gonna direct one this Monday? This is it. I'm so excited to work with you.This is gonna be so fun. My crew is finishing setting up the equipment now and the boys will be here any minute. The concept is dark, sexy but classy. You think you can do that?"

"That's my speciality. Lets get to work. Wait boys? what boys? do you know?"

"No I don't all I know is that its a boy group."

"Oh"

In that instant, deep voices were hears in that hallway. The door opened slowly and "Annyeong!" I looked at Yura with wide eyes. She did the same. Exo was standing right in front of us.

"You guys have a photoshoot today? Wow."

"Well hello to you too girls and yes we have a photoshoot today. This one actually, with you two, in this room, in this building, right now," Suho said.

"Oh, miahne, annyeong," Yura and I said.

We all exchanged hugs and then we were called in a circle. We were given some instructions and the make up team was instructed to give the boys thick eyeliner and their hair to be up or just down a bit over their eyes like they normally have it. I was assigned Kai and Chanyeol. Omg.
Doing Chanyeol make up and hair was not too hard and it was fun he was making jokes and messing around with Baekhyun in the seat next to him. They are really loud. I dont mind though. I was a little distracted with Kai because he would be on his phone and be stealing glances. When I did his make he would stare at me for long periods of time, like if he were going to break the silence and say something. It was kinda killing me also because I felt people were watching us. I got a bit uncomfortable. When he did speak up, he'd say small things like

"Look, do you like this picture of me?"

or

"do you think this is funny?"

I would laugh slightly at his jokes. When everyone was finished, they went to the next room, make up artists included. We watched as Yura instructed them to pose, gave them tips, and things like that. She was so professional even though she was really shy. They all looked very serious but calm. My favorites were the grayscale ones. We took a break and Exo were passing out little pouches from a woven basket to all the people. Then it was my turn. I was the last one.

"Since this is your first assignment with us you get this thank you letter and you get to keep the basket. Its cute isn't it? like me?" Baekhyun said smiling.
