Chapter 2: The Temporary Replacement

Soojung's P.O.V.

12:00 P. M.

Really? Three interviews one hour each? Gosh, I didn't know it was gonna be so long and difficult. Those questions. One in particular.

“Where do you see yourself in this company after 5 years?"

Oh My God. How the heck am I supposed to know that? I can't time travel.

“ Ummm...hopefully working full time contract expert make-up artist. I would love to be involved in many projects in the future and be lerning from the best."

I'm soooooo hungry. I havent eaten in *looks at watch* 2..4...6 hours. Yup I'm definitely hungry. I walked into the elevator and went to the lobby. My teacher said that she'd text me to come back later when they have made their decision. I got to the lobby, gava back the visitor's pass and left.

Wow how come I never noticed the S.M. Entertainment building was so close to Etude House? So that's how i ran into Baekhyun. Pabo. I felt a slight tug on my wrist.

Oh no... not again.

I turned around and yup. You guessed it, there he was. He dragged me into their van and shut the door. I was too shocked to scream or pull away.

“Hellllllooooo? you here?" asked Chanyeol waving his hands in front of me.
"Of course she's here hyung, She's not there," replied the maknae, Sehun.

*facepalm*OMO these children.

"Annyeonghaseyo EXO Suho-imnida." The others proceeded to introduce themselves.
"I know who guys are and I'm a fan," I replied trying to calm myself from the shock. “why am I here?"

The first one to answer my question was Kai, saying, “well we needed another player. Kris hyung and Tao went to do a photoshoot so that left us with 5 players on each team. Luhan hyung didn't want to play though and since you bumped into Baekhyun hyung a while ago and he spotted you again, he thought you would be perfect to fill in for Luhan."
“Wow wow wow wait an minute...player? for what? what game are we playing?"
“We are going bowling," D.O. informed.
“Like in EXO SHOWTIME?"
“You watched it?" they looked at me with wide eyes.
“I said I was a fan of EXO. Okay lets go!"

We drove off to the bowling alley, still a little stiff from the fact that oh my god I'm in EXO's van. To loosen the tension I'm guessing D.O. noticed, he put some music on and yes Black Pearl like in EXO SHOWTIME. This is so crazy.

We finally arrived.

12:30 P. M.

"What are the teams?" interrupted Sehun.
"Ummm.....well i think it should be Chanyeol, Xiumin, D.O, Chen, and me, then Lay, Kai, Sehun, Baekhyun, and.......what's your name?" Suho asked, quickly turning to me.
"It's Soojung. Nice to meet you all." I bowed.

*awkward silence*

"Okay then lets play."

I don't know much about bowling but I got 3 strikes. How is that even possible but I mean obviously Kai got more than me. I only know the basics of bowling. The boys are really good. We got food...well not really food, just snacks. After it was over, rhe first team got in one van and went of to the dorms. My team got into the other. I had to get home. It was dark and I promised Yura I'd call her to tell her about the interview earlier. What a long day.

2:00 P. M.

"Where do you live? We can drop you off there," Kai said.
"You can just drop me off here. I can walk home.Really, my house is not that far from here."
"No no, we'll take you there," Baekhyun insisted.
"Okay, its straight ahead, then turn that corner and then to your left into that complex. Then turn right. That blue house."

I got out of the car and walked towards the door. I heard other footsteps other than mine. I got to the door and turned around to find that Kai and Baekhyun were there.

"Thank you for filling in for Luhan today. It was really fun," said Baekhyun breaking the silence. He was so happy. He looked like a puppy.

Kai took out his phone and held it towards me as if wanting me to grap it saying, "umm... can I have your number?"

Baekhyun looked a little surprised but then he smiled quickly so I wouldn't notice.
"Okay." I took Kai's phone and typed in my phone number.
"Thank you. I'll call you later." He smiled quickly and left running to the van.

I looked at him as he left smiling. Baekhyun looked back too and turnes to me quickly.
"I have to go too. C-Can I have your number t-too?"

Why is he stuttering? Well it is pretty chilly.

I grabbed his phone too and typed my number in.
"Thank you so much. I'll text you later also," he said smiling and he walked away slowly.

Wow this took a while. Sorry people. Its cuz I have homework and stuff you know. Today I have State Testing. I am so tired rigjt now but I will update again next week or before if I have time.

Question: What will Kai and Baekhyun text Soojung? Any guesses?
