TAYLOR'S POV
After a few days, I was finally able to leave the hospital. My parents had visited everyday for short periods of time, unlike my friends who had stayed overnight sometimes. My parents arrived and my mom checked me out as my dad helped me put all my gifts into a box.

"You'll be missing cheer practise for the rest of the month, we don't want you getting injured any worse." my dad explained. I simply nodded in response, even though I wanted to scream at his because this means I may not be able to compete at all this season. My mom came into the room and smiled at me, we all began to walk out of the room together, my mom hugging me close to her as we walked.

CARL'S POV
"Taylor comes home today." Lip stated as we were all sitting in the living room eating lunch.

"Yay! Will she be at school?" Debbie exclaimed.

"She's taking the week off to catch up on work." I chipped in, before biting my wrap.

"I feel so bad for her, wasn't the guy who hit her drunk or something?" Fiona asked nobody in particular.

"Yeah. He had to write her a massive apology letter and he was fined." I told her. My phone went off just as I finished speaking, Taylor's name showing up on my lockscreen. I unlocked my phone immediately and read the message. 'I just got home😘 my mom doesn't want people over today but tomorrow you can stay over💕' her text read. I typed my reply, agreeing to her idea, then put my phone down.

"Taylor's home, I'm guessing?" Lip said to me, grinning. I nodded.

"How did you guess?" I chuckled, partially being sarcastic.

"You were smiling like mad, dude." he laughed, causing Debbie to laugh too. I rolled my eyes, trying to hide the fact my face was burning red.
