TAYLOR'S POV
I'd gotten home from the hospital yesterday, my room was full of stuffed animals and cards from people on top of all the clutter I already had. All I'd done since I got home was play video games, nap and eat. So, nothing has changed. I was lying in my bed texting on the group chat for my cheer team when I heard my doorbell go off. I knew someone else would get it, so I didn't move a muscle. I heard some talking, the door shut and then someone running upstairs. A knock echoed through my bedroom door, followed by it slowly opening. Carl peered his head into my room, a smile spreading across his face.
"Hey!" I exclaimed, sitting up and holding my arms out. He hurried over and sat down, wrapping his warm arms around me. He began planting small kisses all over my face, neck and arms making me uncontrollably laugh.
"I missed this." I mumbled - we never got any privacy in the hospital as it was a shared room and there were nurses around 24/7.
CARL'S POV
I lay beside Taylor, holding her enough to not hurt her. She held my hand in hers, holding it close to her face.
"Carl?" she mumbled, turning her body.
"Mhm?" was all I replied, I was half asleep and my head was buried against her shoulder.
"Do you mind if I sleep for a little?" she asked awkwardly.
"I'm half asleep anyway, babe." I laughed, lifting my head and kissing her lips quickly, she lifted her head, reconnecting the kiss. Her hands held my face, her tongue begging for entrance.
"I thought you were tired." I whispered, smirking.
"I am. I just missed you." she giggled, pecking my lips once more before laying down again. I let her get comfortable then I spooned her body, my arms holding her close.
