Alpha Male *extended version*

Part 23

The kiss lasted for several heartbeats as both Josiph and Lucas made each second last. Their hearts began to beat rapidly, and their breathing grew faster but neither of them pulled away just yet. Neither of them wanted the kiss to end, but eventually the two had to breath properly. When Lucas pulled away from Josiph a groan erupted from deep in his chest.

"I didn't say to pull away." Josiph whispered laying his head against Lucas's.

"I figured that me falling to the ground wasn't going to sound all that well downstairs." Lucas said with a laugh.

"Yes well, now that you have taken a breath we can continue." Josiph said before he moves his hand behind Lucas's head and pulled his lips back to his own. They kissed a second time though it was shorter this time because Kiana decided to barge in at the wrong moment.

"Holy crap! They are kissing!" Kiana cheered for everyone in the house to hear her. She was standing in the middle of the doorway staring at Lucas and Josiph as they pulled away a second time.

In a matter of seconds everyone was running up the stairs and standing beside Kiana to see what had unfolded only moments before. It was as if they were expecting something to happen, but too bad for them it was already over.

"It's about damn time." Derek laughed while cheering his friend on. He had jsut walked up from behind Kiana with a smile on his face, and now he was staring at Lucas and Josiph.

"Seriously!" Steve said just after Derek. He had pushed his way a bit passed Derek and closer to Kiana. "It's been forever."

Maggie and Paul also walked up the stairs when Kiana had screamed, but said nothing when they looked at Lucas and Josiph.

"I guess there is no privacy in this house." Lucas said with a laugh moving further away from Josiph. He had a smile on his face and his eyes sparkled.

"In this house there will never be any privacy." Josiph laughed before pulling Lucas back to him for another kiss. This kiss only lasted a few seconds, but it was in front of everyone. When Josiph pulled away from the kiss Lucas lost balance and fell into him. "Are you okay?" Josiph asked with a laugh.

While Josiph and Lucas were kissing Derek lead everyone back down the stairs and into the living room so that the two had their own privacy.

"I will reply to that when everything stops spinning," Lucas replied back holding onto Josiph for support.

"When are you going to tell me why your eyes glow like that?" Josiph asked Lucas before running a finger gently across his cheek. He was looking into Lucas's eyes as he had asked the question, and refused to look away.

"In my family, my eyes will glow when I have found my mate." Lucas told him carefully. "However the full story to why that is will come later on."

"Just like the fact that I'd seen a white wolf in your house on the night of the full moon." Josiph said.

"Yes. You will find out about that soon enough as well but not right now."

Josiph nodded but moved closer to Lucas anyways before whispering, "You don't have to hide forever."

"Hiding is all that we have done." Lucas whispered back before pulling away and waiting for his reason which never came.

Two days after the kiss between Lucas and Josiph the group was sitting in the living room of Zach and Diane waiting for Hunter to come home from school. By now everyone had heard of the kiss so it wasn't much of a secret anymore that the two were mates. Actually, everyone seemed to enjoy having two Alpha's in the pack rather than just one. Some hoped it would keep some of the stress off of Josiph, while others just wanted to see how things went. Sadly, others wondered how an heir would come from the mating, and what would happen if there was no heir.
