Last chap tonight :)

Enjoy!

Gale was sleeping when the group came back from their discussion. His face was red, and a sheen of sweat clung to his head. Katniss knelt down next to him and laid her hand on his forehead. It was hot to the touch.

"He's getting a fever." She said, moving aside as Annabeth knelt down and felt it too.

"Wonderful." Annabeth said under her breath. She grabbed for the medical kit, that she knew well enough to keep handy now. She grabbed a small bottle, unscrewed the top, and held it to his lips. He woke with a start, almost knocking the bottle and shattering it on the ground.

"Sorry." He said after drinking. "What is that for?"

"You're getting sick." Annabeth said, packing up the kit. He sighed.

"Great, just what I need." He said, tensing up. Katniss shook her head, this was almost exactly what she had gone through with Peeta in the first games, only his wound was much less severe. Her thoughts were interrupted by a fit of throaty coughs. Gale was shaking, and he kept pressing his hand to his chest. Katniss and Annabeth covered him in what blankets were available, and the shaking stopped slightly. But his eyes were not as bright as before, and his face seemed a little sunken in. When he spoke, his voice was raspy.

"So, what to do with me now?" He said, trying to joke around, but then erupted into another coughing fit.

"We may have to rethink our plans now." Annabeth said.

"What was the plan to begin with?" Gale asked after he regained control.

"Well, it was to have Katniss and Minho stay behind while everyone else went to check out the wolf thing, but that obviously isn't going to happen since you are starting to get sick." Annabeth told him.

"No no! I'm fine. Go ahead, I'll be fine." Gale said, nodding towards Annabeth.

"That cough wasn't just anything, and who knows what it will do to your wounds." Annabeth told him. He just let his head rest on the blanket behind him and closed his eyes, listening to the conversation.

"He's never going to do what's best for him." Katniss said.

"Acting like Percy, pretty much." Annabeth said to herself.

"What are we going to do?" Katniss asked, casting a worried glance at Gale.

"Well, I'm thinking that Brom should go with one or two other people in our group to investigate the creature, and everyone staying here should work on a plan." Annabeth told them. She sighed, trying to figure out who to go. "Probably Percy and Minho should go with Brom, since Percy knows where the creature is at, since he killed him." Annabeth thought aloud "And Minho seems to be a little on edge."

"Are we going to get Hiccup?" Valka asked.

"We need to know more about this. We need to see what the creature exactly was, and we barely have any clue about how all this relates." Annabeth told her "And I'm afraid I missed it, who are you?"

"I'm Hiccup's mother, and I want to find him as soon as possible," she said. "No matter the situation we're in," she added, looking at Gale.

"That would make sense." Annabeth replied. She had never been close to either of her parents, since one was an Olympian and the other just never really cared for her much, but she knew how it should have been.

"Did I hear my name over here?" Minho asked, walking over.

"Yeah. We were thinking that you, Percy, and Brom go to check out the creature Percy had killed that had attacked Gale and Hiccup." Annabeth told him.
