(a couple of hours later)
We're back by the picnic blanket, dry and in our clothes. The sun is setting and the moon is coming out. "So how did you find this place?" I ask as I stare out at the beautiful scenery ahead of me. "I like to go out and explore on my own. It gets me away from all the worlds bullshit. And one day I found this. I've never shown anyone because it's my little place all to myself ya know?" Jc answers. I stare at him and get lost in his eyes until he looks at me and says "what?" I look away, embarassed, "nothing, it's just...you look so happy when you're talking about exploring and adventures." He smiles and we stay quiet for a while, enjoying the silence. I lay back and look up at the stars. He does the same, and soon I guess I fall asleep.
(sometime later)
I wake up and it's the middle of the night. I'm laying next to Jc, my head resting on his arm. It's too dark to see much, so I feel around for my phone. 2am and 3 missed calls from Aylin. Shit. She must be worried.
