Chapter 1: Why?

2 weeks after initiation
Tris POV
I am so excited because I started my wonderful job as a tattoo artist just a few days ago.

I decided to ask Tori if I could leave early so I could go surprise Tobias. As I got to our apartment I heard strange noises coming from the bedroom. I decided to go and check it out. When I opened the door I saw something unexpected. Marlene was naked and kissing a naked Tobias or should I say Four! I screamed " WHAT THE HELL FOUR! I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME BUT I GUESS NOT! WE ARE OVER!"

" Wait Tris, I can explain!" Four pleads. "I don't want to hear it there isn't any explanation other than that you are cheating on me!" I reply, "Leave me alone, I never want to talk to you again."

I ran out of the room to go find Uriah. We have gotten really close after initiation and to be completely honest I may like him. I have to tell him about Marlene. He is gonna be heart broke--"OUCH" a familiar voice says. I look up to find Uriah. Just who I was looking for. "Tris? Why are you crying?" He says. It wasn't until then I realized I had been bawling my eyes out. I immediately pulled him into a hug and cried into his chest. "Tris, are you okay?" I realize I hadn't said anything back. " Can we go back to your place so I can explain?" I reply. "Of course" he says in his soothing deep voice.

We get to his apartment and I tell him the whole story. "Why me? Why did he have to cheat on me?" I say. " I don't know Tris but I do know it isn't your fault." He says in return. I realize he is crying as well, "I am so sorry Uri. It was just as surprising to me." Then something surprising happens, " Tris it is okay. I just realized you don't have a place to stay. Would you like to stay here?"
