"Why don't you take a seat next to Chloe over there?" Mr. Gormande commands.
There are plenty of seats open, and she chooses to sit RIGHT beside me, the closest she can get! Usually, I'm excited to meet new people, especially if they aren't a fan of my sister! But I'm getting a weird vibe from Makenna. She seems kinda annoying.
"Hi, I'm Chloe! how are you?" I say trying to see if my hypothesis was correct.
"I'm Makenna, and I am wonderful! how about you?" wow! Usually, the new kids are shy but she seems like a really cool kid!
"Would you want to sit with my friend Bree and I at lunch tomorrow?" I ask politely, trying to make a new friend.
"Sure! why not!"
Yay! II'm not a loner anymore!
"Mr. Chaddwick, you're late!" Mr. Gormande shouts as Drew walks into the room.
Mr. Gormande's expression goes from angry, to surprised when Keaton strides into the room.
"Keaton Stromburg? why are you late to this class?" Keaton just looks at Mr. Gormande, and smiles apologetically.
Drew sat in the desk behind me, and Keaton sat in the desk behind Makenna.
Mr. Gormande turns his attention back to the smart board, and he goes back to what he was trying to teach us earlier.
"So the............." Mr. Gormande goes on and on about boring Calculus stuff! ugh!
I lookup at the clock, above Mr. Gormande's desk. it's 1:35! Five minutes until school ends!
The bell finally rings, and we are dismissed from this living hell!
"Hey, so...... Um, I'm just gonna skip detention today...... So yeah, I kinda gotta be somewhere, so have fun-" Drew tells Keaton as they walk out the door.
"Ummmm NO! You can't just skip detention! You were the one that got us here! So you're staying!" I shout catching up to them.
"I wasn't talking to you!" Drew snaps back.
"I honestly don't give a flying fuck if you weren't talking to me!" I shout, I'm not quite sure why I'm so mad.
"Guys! We're all friends here!" Keaton says trying to calm us down. It doesn't work. We just glare at Keaton and then go back to coming up with clever comebacks.
Makenna catches up to me eventually. "Hi, I'm Makenna!" Makenna says twisting a finger through her hair. Ugh! She's one of those girls. She is a totally different person when it comes to guys! Her voice is SUPER annoying right now!
"I'm just gonna go..........." I say walking away.
"Wait I'm not done with you!" Drew calls running after me.
