•DETENTION DAY 2•

It's the second day of tryouts, and this time I can sneak out because the guy that was in charge of detention last time got sick, so now Ms. Kind is watching us!

Don't be fooled by her name, she is the worst teacher at this school! She gives out too much homework. There was one time where she gave me a gigantic, fifth page packet that was due the next day, and oh my god! I stayed up until 4 in the morning to finish it, I only got an hour of sleep!

I walk over to the desk
I was sitting at yesterday, and I set my bag down. I am the last one to show up! I guess I convinced Drew to come anyway!

"Keaton?" Ms. Kind says in her naturally nasally voice.

"Here!" He calls back.

"Wesley?"

"Here!" Wesley replies
Waving his hand. He is sitting farther away from me, which is weird, because yesterday he used me for protection.

"Chloe!"

"Yeah!?" I exclaim slowly turning my attention back to her.

"Hannah?" Ms. Kind call out, I didn't notice that more people have started getting detention.

Ms. Kind calls out a lot more names, and eventually she finishes.

There are at least ten other students here than yesterday. The majority of them are girls.

There are two new boys, and Wesley is sitting next to them. Guess he's friends with them. They look kinda like geeks, so it makes sense.

The girls are all sitting by Drew and Keaton, which I could understand. I'm pretty sure all the girls are cheer leaders, so they're trying to have the quarterback fall for them.

I decide to plug in my earphones to my phone, so that I can listen to music, hopefully I can listen to it in peace, unlike last time.

Bree started listening to songs by Charlie Puth, so she got me addicted to his songs too.

Bree tried really hard to get detention this morning again, but she failed, because all the teachers thought that she was joking whenever she did bad things, because she's such a goody to shoes!

About an hour goes by, and Ms. Kind gets up, out of her seat to go use the restroom.

Some of the kids take that as a chance to escape this hell, so they stand up and just walk out the door.

I just pretend like I can't see them and continue listening to my music.

Once everybody that was gonna leave left, I noticed that Drew, a girl named Avery, and Wesley were the only ones left in the room, besides me. Ms. Kind is gonna open a can of Whip-ass on all the students that left, because it's pretty obvious that people left.

Even Keaton left! Probably because he wanted to help with the girls basketball team.

Avery uses this time to socialize with Drew. She has probably slept with every single guy in the school! She is pretty, but she also looks used up.

She struts towards Drew and takes the chair next to him, she places a hand on his leg, and looks up at him.

I am not interested in what's probably gonna happen next, so I turn the volume up my phone all the way up, and I turn my attention to s piece of paper in front of me.

I decide to draw about detention. That's how you know I'm bored out of my mind.

I hear a crash (outside of my headphones) So I take my headphones off and see what happened.

Ms. Kind just walked into the room. There is a broken coffee mug on the floor, and I'm guessing that she dropped it when she saw that there were only four people in the room.

"Where did they go!?" She shouts lividly, her face turns a DARK shade of red.

Oh boy! This is not going to be pretty. She stomps to the desk at the front and grabs the phone.

She practically yells into the phone. I am so glad that I didn't leave. I would not want to be on her bad side right now.

Someone starts crying, so I look around the room and see Avery get up, out of her chair, and she sprints out of the room. Wonder what that was about.

Ms. Kind doesn't chase after her because she too busy yelling at the phone.
