Allison's P.O.V

"Dee, I swear. It was like he was a God and I was a little chubby fairy staring at him like he was.. I don't even know! But he was perfect." I say as I straighten the book shelf in the back with my co-worker, Dee. She was around her late forties, never married, no children. Nothing. She wasn't ugly. But she was very tall, and lanky. Probably 6'0. But she had the clearest skin. Her hair was always either up in a tight bun or a half pony tail.

"Ooo, Ally! He sounds cute!" She giggled as she put away some fantasy book.

"Duh! You should have see him!" I sighed, "You should have seen me. I was a total goof ball."

"You're lying! You were probably a really good interviewer." She smiled at me. I stared at her.

"I asked if he was gay." I said stupidly.

She brought her hand up to her mouth and gasped, giggling after, "Ally, you didn't?"

"Oh yeah, I did." I shrugged my shoulders, "But he said no."

"Well at least he likes women!" She says happily.

"I mean, yeah I guess." I shook my head, "I'm just glad I don't have to see him again."

"I don't know, maybe he thought you were cute?" She asks me, pouting her lips out.

I laughed, "Because guys who look like super models just think I'M pretty. That's a laugh."

"You have to give yourself more credit, Allison. You're a very pretty girl!" She scorns me. I roll my eyes.

"Yes, Dee, I know. I'm sorry." I smile, "I'm gonna go get more cards to write on."

I walk to the desk and open the door into the office. I walk over to my computer area, bend down and start looking into all of my drawers for some stupid book cards. I swear they were just in this spot ten minutes ago...

"Where the hell are these?" I mumble to myself as I open the top drawer.

*ding ding*

The bell on my desk rings and I heavily sigh. I swear if it's the two teenage boys who come here and flirt with me, I'm going to shoot myself. I lift my head up and smile...

What?

"Oh, well, hello." Harry Styles smiles at me brightly as he takes his hand and pushes his bottom lip together.

"Uhm. Hi." I get out, managing not to look at his plump bottom lip.

"Ms. Carter, right?" He asks, pointing at me.

"Uhm, yeah.. Yes. Allison." I say really fast.

"Allison, right." He nods his head slowly and looks down, "Do you have any books about tying knots?"

I scrunch my forehead, "Tying knots?"

"Yes?" He answers, looking back at me with his forehead scrunched. I shake my head.

"Sorry, uhm." I click away on the computer and find some books about survival with knot tying in them, "Mr. Styles, if you would, follow me please."

"My pleasure, Miss Carter." He says with a sly smile. I swallow all of the saliva in my mouth and exit the desk area. We walk in silence, me in front of him a couple feet until we reach the book area.

"Here we go." I say and take he book off of the shelf and hand it to him. He looks at me before opening it up and skimming across a few pages. His long fingers taking each page in his index finger and flipping it...

"I'll take it." He says and snaps the book closed. I flinch and look at him in his beautiful green eyes.

"Do you need anything else?" I ask, whispering almost.

He looks at me and his face turns into a smile, "No thanks, Miss Carter."

"Okay, we can go back to the front desk." I say and walk past him and up to the front desk. Dee is there checking someone else out. She looks up at me and then her eyes move behind me. Her mouth gapes.

"That's him!" I mouth, and she slowly shakes her head. She gives me a quick nod before turning back to her costumer.

I take his book and begin checking him out.

"So, Miss Carter, when do you get off?" He asks me. Dee clears her throat and I snap my head at her.

"I was just gonna ask if you wanted me to close tonight? You can leave at 5:30 when I had too." She smiles at me and then at Mr. Styles.

I glower my eyes at her, shooting my imaginary darts into her brain.

"I guess I'm leaving at 5:30." I sigh and click his name into the computer.

"Perfect time for dinner." Mr. Styles says causally and blinks at me.

"Dinner?" I ask, stupidly.

"If you wouldn't mind, Miss Carter, I'd love to have to dinner with you tonight." He flirtatiously says. My stomach turns.

"Uhm, well, I'd have to go home and clean up first. Get dressed.. It may take a little longer." I try and save my own self from this dinner... Thing?

"Then I'll pick you up at your house at 6:30, perfect time to get ready." He says, looking at Dee and smiling.

"Oh.. Uhm." Shit, what should I say??

"Well, Allison?" Harry says.

God, I love the way he says my name..

"Sure." I smile shyly at him, tucking a stray hair behind my ears.

Harry stands there and looks at me for a second, and I kind of just stare back. Not knowing what he wants, or why he's just standing there looking at me.

"Uhm, Miss Carter?" He questions, and I pinch my eyebrows together.

"Yes?"

"I'm not psychic, I don't know where your flat is." He leans forward a little, hands clasped behind his back, as he makes his little joke.

My face probably turns 20 shades of pink as I quickly apologize and fumble around for a pen and piece of paper to write down my address for him. How stupid am I?

"There, that's where I live." I say, handing him the sticky note and mentally slapping myself.

He smiles happily sticks the piece of paper in his jacket pocket, and then picks up his book, "See you at 7, Miss Carter." He nods at Dee before exiting the library.

"You have a date with thee most handsome man ever!" Dee says excitedly to me.

"Oh shit." I mutter before banging my head on the desk.

What did I just get myself in to.....
