lucas friars humble abode and study sessions
R I L E Y ;
Big.
That was how I could describe Lucas Friar's home.
I could go more in depth to that, but Lucas's house was so big. It had a gate surrounding the entire house, a freshly cut mowed lawn, and there was a little fountain in the middle.
I went to the front door, where a butler was waiting.
"Good afternoon, Miss Matthews. I am Phillip. Welcome to the Friars humble abode." With that, he pushed open the grand door and I was greeted with Lucas Friar at the top stairs.
I glanced around. It was a modern mansion, there were various shades of colors throughout the house, and there was a lot of space. If I lived here, I'd probably always get lost.
"C'mon Riles, whatcha waiting for?" He smiled and nodded his head towards upstairs.
I walked up the stairs, and he waited patiently. We walked towards his room. 4th door on the left.
When I entered his room, I expected a messy room, but it was the complete opposite. His room was clean, probably cleaner than mine. The walls were dark gray, with a white bed. His desk was in the corner, and across from his bed was an HD flat inch TV. Woah.
I was probably staring for a while, and he had to grab my hand to pull me in.
I set down my bag on his bed, and he grabbed out his math binder.
"Alright. What do you need help with in math?" I ask him, tapping my lead pencil against my leg.
"Uhhhh. Everything?" He asked as a question, sounding very unsure. I rolled my eyes. I hated it when people ask questions and then someone else answers it with a question.
"Oh boy, looks like we are going to be here for a while." I groaned, and he gave me a cheeky grin.
"Don't worry, Princess, I'll make sure to keep you wide awake." My cheeks turned red at his statement. I have a really really really dirty mind.
"Not in that way!" He yelled at me, smacking me with a pillow. After that, he laughed hard.
"Actually, I wouldn't mind using that way to keep you wide awake." He smirked and winked at me.
"Friar! Let's just get started on these math problems!"

When Lucas said he didn't know anything, he lied. He pretty much knew everything I shot at him. I was shocked, not because he was a football player, but because he had a D in math. How do you have a D in math when he could solve complex equations?
"Why do you have a D in math?" I blurted out, while he was solving equations. He set his pencil down.
He stared up at me. His green eyes were mesmerizing. "You're staring." He mumbled appreciatively.
I turned away for a few second and put my gaze on him. He was still staring. "You're staring," I mimicked at him. He gave me a chuckle.
"I think it's because I don't try in class. I hate math with a passion. It's numbers and an alphabet and graphs. Like no thanks?" He stated.
"Who would've known the golden boy disliked math." I muttered.
"Hey! Just because I'm a golden boy, doesn't mean I can dislike stuff." His statement reminded me of when we first had an encounter.
"But you have to try! C'mon Friar, if you want to stay on the football team, you have to keep your grade up!" I scolded him like a child.
He groaned and leaned back, his chiseled abs showing a little bit, as his shirt rid up. Woah.
"Lucas! I'm hom-" A girly voice passed through. I shifted my gaze on her. Dirty blonde hair, same colored eyes, pretty tall. Lucas's sister. "Who is this?" She raised her eyebrow and sent Lucas a smirk.
"This is Riley Matthews, she's my tutor in math." He stated, giving me a wink. How flattering.
"Just your tutor?" She came closer to me and efficiently observed me. I crossed my leg over the other. Her state made me feel a bit uncomfortable.
"Nice complexion, eyebrows, and hair. I approve. You'd be a better girlfriend for my brother than that spoiled rotten girl. What's her name? Mindy? Marry? Whatever."
"Where are my manners? I'm Leah. Lucas's older sister. I graduated last year, but people still know me." She gave me a wink and pulled me in for a hug.
"Yeah yeah yeah, Leah. That's enough. Back away from my nerd." Lucas came in between us and pulled us apart from.
"Sheesh Luke, no need to get jealous over a hug between no friends." She rolled her eyes but gave a cheeky grin. I could see the resemblance.
Lucas rolled his eyes and pushed Leah out the door. "Keep it rated PG-13 kids!" She hollered and slammed the door to her room. Now she sounded like Maya.
"Just ignore her, she can get pretty crazy." Lucas gave an awkward laugh, and scratched his neck.
"It's fine. So when's the text tutoring session?" I asked him, grabbing all of my stuff and packing it up.
"Hmm. I have practice tomorrow. Uhh." He thought for a second. "Sunday."
"Sunday?"
"Sunday will be our next tutoring session." He confirmed placing a hand on my shoulder and walking me to the door downstairs.
"Or it could be a study date if you want." He winked at me for what it seemed like the billionth time.
"Whatever, save your flirting for your girlfriend." I muttered.
"Jealous?" He asked, sending me his smile again.
"Totally!" I sarcastically exclaimed and rolled my eyes.
He gave a hearty laugh,"See you at school tomorrow, Princess."
I exited out of his house and joined the car where Maya was waiting. She was giving me here Maya-grin.
"How was it?"
"It was good."
